I didn’t go “in season” so we didn’t have the ability to check out the hotel restaurant, pub or water sports. I wish we could have gone out in the paddle boats but I understand the water was cold. That said, the manager was very accommodating and the house keeping staff was very efficient. I would definitely recommend the Surfside to friends. The view of the lake was exceptional!!!

Desk front staff.. It felt like I was buying bus tickets when I checked it & out. Not a single word or gesture to welcome us, nor a thank you for returning the waistband we were given to proof our staying there. There restaurant was closed weekdays without updating it in their web, nor informed in the front desk.

Cleanness in our room, and all around the premises, and courteous assistance of the guy in the beach activities cabin.

The parking was terrible. Couldn't park in front of your own room. Also no plastic cups for the bathroom sink. Just coffee mugs for the coffee machine.

The cost was very high , but it was a holiday weekend and my son’s birthday so we took it.

It was very relaxing and enjoyable out on the deck. The food was tasty and staff very friendly.

Outstanding location convenient to town. Surfside had kayaks and paddleboards. View of lake from the bar is outstanding. Staff was vey helpful. This is why we have been repeat customers and look forward to coming back.

Silicone bracelets that you provided had some what appeared to be someone else's sunscreen on it. Dried up. The rooftop bar /restaurant is overpriced for the food and you get charged an 18% service fee for what, who knows.

Location of our room. It was above the restaurant. No terrace like most of the other rooms. A little small as well. We asked for a king bed so that's where they put us.

The parking! At $400 per night, I should not have to sneak and park at the motel adjacent to ours. I went to talk to management and they are AWARE there is an issue due to the Cabana Bar being open to the public. If you are aware of this issue, then put your security out patrolling the parking area. 🙄 Yes, there were at least 2 gentleman with Security Teeshirts on, checking for swimming wristbands. Let's delegate duties to include the lots as well as the pool. Due to the parking issue mainly I'm not sure if we will return here next year. It was totally frustrating every time we were out over the four days.

The pool and beach area were great! Nice atmosphere for families. If looking for a place more geared towards couples, this is not it.

Water facilities were more oriented towards children than adults. Children were having a good time, but both the lakefront and pool were very small. Pleasant to sit by, but not very good for adult swimming.

Property was in an extremely good location. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Had a problem with bathtub drainage and refrigerator. Staff came within 15 minutes of call, and quickly fixed both problems satisfactorily.

At first we were in room 613. The whole night we were hearing a loud noise, almost like an engine running, a constant banging that would happen throughout the night. I taped it and played it for the front desk clerk. Was offered for maintenance to come but, that is a bigger problem. He offered me a better room and then told me how much more it would be. I kinda laughed when I told him I wouldn’t be paying any extra because of their inconvenience to me and my mom. The next day was my moms birthday and after that noise she was exhausted all day. If you want a quiet place this is not it. Kids everywhere. Kids above our room. Running back and forth and it sounded like a herd of elephants. The second room was great until I was woken at 6am by a woman yelling STOP IT!!! STOP IT!!!! I won’t be back. Too expensive to begin with. They are cramming a large amount of people in a small area and I’m really surprised it’s not a fire hazard.

I liked that it’s very close to the lake and the village.

The room was on second floor for 2 seniors to go up and down. The room is old. Ac is dirty. There was a film of dust under the microwave. The neighbors were very loud late in the night. Parking is terrible.

Overall convenience, quality and value. Easy walk to center of Village. Rooftop with bar on site. Breakfast overlooking Lake. Water Private beach access with free water activities. Breakfast staff superb, with quality food at reasonable prices. Rooftop bar service responsive and professional. Cleaning staff responsive and professional. Seems to provide more of the complete package then competitors.
