This was our third time staying at Surfside Resort. The staff is fantastic, the rooms are great, three view is wonderful. We will be coming back to stay there many more times.

We had to run in our swimsuits from the pool across a parking lot to our building in a hail/wind/downpour it was kinda fun for us. Some people might not enjoy that, maybe a covered smoking area too

We got the cheapest room, bed, bathroom TV and microwave, and mini fridge. Views of the street, which is ok, we were out having fun and sleeping. They have bigger rooms for families and better views

The young woman at check-in/out was completely unwelcoming.

It was right on the beach. Our building was set back from direct access but the view was still good. Really well equipped kitchenette.

The property is a little dated, it could use some updates & a nicer couch.

We were surprised the room was like a condo—it had a kitchenette, two bathrooms & the bedroom was separate from the living room kitchen area. It right on the beach & has beach access & it is a nice beach.

The pool doesn’t open until 10am. We would have liked to use it earlier.

The view from the room was great! The room had everything we needed and everything worked. Also really liked how warm the pool was.

We had kids on both side of us who were banging on the walls Friday night, slamming the glass doors and hopping onto our side of the balcony. I did try calling the front desk multiple times between 10/11pm on Friday and no one answered.

The view from the pet friendly rooms are FLAWLESS. I grew up in Oregon and this has become one of my favorite places because of the view & coastline. It’s amazing. The price is good. We are low key and enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom fan wasn't working, low toilet, no screen for the sliding glass door, staff wasn't particularly friendly.

The night before we stayed in the room, I called the front office because I had a question about how to book and what things meant online. The young girl was not friendly at all, she acted like my questions were stupid and did not sound very inviting. I was greatly disappointed because we normally do not get that from Surfside Resort. We could not figure out how to work the TV either.

It's very quiet at this hotel. We love to be able to see the ocean so close to the building, it was clean and we absolutely love the shower head and all of the complimentary soaps and shampoos!! And big white fluffy towels!!

I wish they didn't charge for pets. I keep my pets very clean, and I am very clean and respectful wherever I stay/live.

The hotel is right on the beach and we got a beach view. The beach is extremely clean and the views are amazing! There are mountains and a lake on one side and the ocean on the other. The town is small and quaint.

The Tillamook/Portland bus in the morning has been canceled, and I was stranded in creepy spot in Portland early in the morning. I test about routes and give advice to non-car travelers from other countries. I am now telling people thar Rockaway is a no-go zone for short stays and day trippers.

I lycked out. With a nice evening and sunset.. The room was clean and quiet.

The lady at check in was unfriendly but the checkout person was nice. The maids roaming the buildings were blocking the walkways with their supplies and weren't friendly.

The value for the view. The rooms are big and clean, you get a full kitchen and you see the ocean the whole time. The beds were comfortable and each one had 4 pillows. I can't wait to go back , morning breakfast and coffee on the beach will never be the same. A few things in the room we had need attention but nothing major, the stove vent is old and had no filter, and the bathroom fan did not work but I think they are doing a great job keeping up with maintenance while being near the salty sea air.
