Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe mattress was squeaky and the door latch was really noisy so I would recommend bringing earplugs.
Cute little outdoor campsite/tent hostel. Sven welcomed me at the door, gave me a tour and explained how to use the propane heater overnight. I was worried I would be cold but Sven provided me with an additional blanket so I was very warm. The (paid in quarters) hot shower was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised to see a hairdryer and hair straightener in the women’s bathroom. The kitchen was clean and the wifi connection worked at a good speed.

IndiaI was a bit cold in the dormitory rooms with the sleeping bag arrangement. Blankets might have been better for insulating against the cold.
The hostel was super cute and beautiful! Do try the coffee shop inside the hostel premises. It is the cutest little place. The private rooms are very comfortable with heating provided. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were nice and hot.

United States of AmericaI felt I was misled from the description on the website. It definitely is a campground Bathhouse a distance from the cabin. Mattress was a 2 inch foam on a hard wooden platform of a bunk bed. Paid showers No sheets or towels provided. If you are camping and prepared it meets your needs. There are some pretty little cabins but mine was in a back corner with a storage area of lumber etc surrounding it. Maintenance personnel were friendly but in AM I wanted assistance with directions and person managing desk was rushed and rude.
The main area was pretty with a little garden but that was not my location

United States of AmericaThe toilets were always very clean but there were only three of them, and one of the three had apparently been out of order for some time. These toilets are used by both staff and guests, and when the hostel is at full capacity that means 40 people are trying to use these toilets! ONLY TWO TOILETS IS WOEFULLY INADEQUATE FOR THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WAITING TO USE THEM!!!!
The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the proximity to the airport and the big box stores was too.

United States of AmericaThere are only three bathrooms, one of which has apparently been out of service for quite a while. That left only TWO toilets for both staff and guests to use. When the hostel is completely full that means that 40 people are expected to share these two toilets. THAT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!
The staff was exceptional. All of them were extremely pleasant and accommodating.

United States of AmericaShower cost is 0.25 per minute, which is fine, but I would like a shut off to stop the clock while lathering up. This would save water too.
Excellent staff and service. All facilities were clean. Pretty quiet given the location. They provide free lockers and a lock!
