You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of America. I was given a room that had an odor and when I went to front desk and asked for a different room I was told they didn’t have any. But when checking in 10 minutes prior I heard the lady at the front desk tell someone over the phone they had 15 rooms available. I held my ground politely with the man at the front desk and I can tell he wasn’t pleased I wanted a different room. He said the 15 rooms were all reserved and he wanted to send someone up there to freshen up the carpets and clean. so I told him to give me there’s and give them mine. He asked me if I had messed up any thing in the room and I told him no. after about 5 minutes of silence and him staring at his computer he said he has given me a room with no carpet. I went to that room and it smelled very clean I was pleased. my only complaint is that so much floor cleaner was used that I was literally sliding while walking in that room. but I’d rather deal with it. In the middle of the night I heard men hainging out out side my door in the parking lot and someone even knocked on my door around 11:45 pm. I of course didn’t answer and just went to sleep. the next 3 days I stayed there were great. no noise at night and no one knocking on door in middle of night. so rough start to my stay for sure but it ended up being ok. I will stay here again. but I will ask for a “room with no carpet “
