However, the reception staff is very unprofessional and bad banners. When I showed my booking email and transaction information, he turned down my booking and told me that I cannot stay as I am using a different given name. He told me he need check with his supervisor for 20mins, while I am panic for my broadway show start soon. When I left, there are many people q for checkout and no reception staff at all.

Overall the location, the facilities, the cleanliness are quite good.

Front desk was clueless about restaurants in the area. We wanted a late breakfast and there were 2 iconic NY diners within 3 blocks and they suggested Dennys in Times Square! Yuck! Not even the manager could come up with something.

Great to go to Broadway shows. Many amazing restaurants nearby. Quality Italian on 57th! Lillie's Victorian Establishment. Close to MOMA

Being charged $75 to check in early was absurd. Never experienced that in all My travels. The rate per night in NY is so expensive and then the tax and fees. Was really very expensive.

The only issue we had was that the AC wasn’t very strong. It was kind of stuffy in the room, even with the shades closed all day to keep out the sun, and it wouldn’t really cool down until middle of the night.

The location is amazing! The hotel is very nice and clean, beds were super comfy. We were on a top floor and had a great view down into Times Square.

The two system lifts are fine but just a bit different and something interesting (let’s just say) to get used to. Putting that aside the room itself is perfect for 1 person but if you are two, you may struggle for space in the main room. The bathroom though is nice and big.

Perfect space for one and amazing views if you’re on a high floor! Nice controls too within the room and very comfortable bed. Great bathroom and though the lifts are different to anything you may have been used to before you do (strangely) get used to them and they are very quick!

New building, friendly staff, the housekeeping staff was very nice and accommodating, awesome view from the corner room.

To conserve space there were no drawers or space to put our clothes. I have never experienced this before but we were able to figure it out. This wouldn’t affect my decision to stay here again. The bathroom didn’t have a lock on it and we were able to manage fine with that too.

The staff were so friendly and helpful every day of our stay. Front desk, bell service, elevator operators, housecleaning and the food service staff were all so friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We had an end unit and it was extremely quiet and peaceful. I have a hard time sleeping in hotels and I slept like a baby during my stay here. I felt very safe.

it was initially hard to find! we got to the right location (corner) vicinity but were looking for a Hilton sign and it’s just Tempo. Way finding directions would have been helpful
