Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt’s a couple of miles from Yosemite National park but it’s actually an hour drive from Yosemite valley, we did this two days in a row but got stuck in traffic so it took us several hours to get into the park and ready to walk. Lots of dead wasps and flies around the pool area, would be good if this area could be swept to avoid people treading on them. Felt the property was quite expensive, it was quiet when we stayed, perhaps people were out in the day but it didn’t have a lot of atmosphere.
The lobby has a great atmosphere with lovely furnishings and lots of places to sit, chess tables etc which makes it very cosy. Nice outdoor space and pool area with two jacuzzis. Food was good and the deli was useful. Felt very homely. Also liked the water refill machine.

United States of AmericaBeautiful property with easy access to Yosemite. We were really impressed with facilities. We received an incredible unexpected upgrade to a cabin (#4) and it was wonderful! It was pretty private with a porch overlooking the river.

AustraliaIt would have been nice to have an option to include breakfast when booking.
Beautiful building, amazing included yoga class, great pool, comfortable room, good location, quality food at restaurant. S’more kits were an especially nice touch and making them around the outdoor fire really brought guests together.

United States of AmericaWiFi didn’t work well in room, mirror is up too high for short people (magnif mirror), need REAL cream for coffee, a vessel to pour water into keurig & closer to a sink — I had to walk across room each time to fill a cup to pour into receptacle.
Lobby, beds, bathroom, robe, coffee in room Storage, room design & colors, lighting, plenty of seating outdoors, quiet, cafe & restaurant has vege options (but needs options for vegetarians) more Elevator convenient location Parking is good

United States of AmericaThe cottage could use an upgrade in the bathroom. The website made the location seem close to Yosemite but it was quite a distance. however we stayed on our way out and that was perfect.
Loved the little cottage for us and our pet. The restaurant was good for breakfast. The grounds were beautiful. It was perfect for the day we were leaving Yosemite.

United States of AmericaThe quality and quantity of the complimentary breakfast for explore cabin can be improved. It keeps running out if breakfast items and the refill was not fast and needs to ask staff to refill. The selection also is very limited. Even motel complementary breakfast has more selection. The club house has no staff for most of the time. S’mores supplies was scarce and run out in 10 minutes but later was restocked slowly. Not feeling very welcoming as there is no staff to greet you at the club house.
Very convenient.

United States of AmericaOur only complaint was that we booked 2 Queen beds but we found out when we arrived that that type of room was not available due to remodeling, so we had to get a rollaway.
Great location near the park entrance. The staff were exceptional- very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. The resort has great amenities and features including robes, outdoor pools and hot tubs, a nice large lobby and little shops for souvenirs and coffee/snacks. They even provided fixings for s’mores over the firepit at night. The food at the restaurant was good, but a bit expensive (especially breakfast).

United States of AmericaWe would have appreciated a few more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu at the restaurant.
The proximity to the South Entrance to Yosemite was what made us book at Tenaya. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. It had all of the amenities we needed and lots of space.

United States of Americathe restaurant is beautiful and service was great. A few more lighter options would have been nice - maybe some more interesting salads.
We were upgraded from a room to a cabin because of remodeling at the Lodge, and we felt so lucky to have a beautiful and comfortable cabin. These are 2Br and look like small manufactured houses. I just wish we had known in advance and we would have stopped at the store to get supplies as we had a microwave, toaster, and fridge/freezer.

United States of AmericaI think for the price we paid I think we should've been more wiser on paying but the bathrooms were a bit small and it was pretty cold even inside and it was really crowded inside even when we had just 4 people with us.
I liked the place itself and our cottage house it was very nice and unique and so much nature. And it also had a nice comfortable beds where we slept sleep very well. And I really liked the pizza place right next to the cottage houses
