It was a cute little space with lots of room in the lobby to sit out and relax. While the room was fine, the sink wouldn’t drain when I plugged it up at one point, and I couldn’t open it up again (in that I didn’t have the desire to try and fix it at 10PM). I may have missed the directions, but I wasn’t aware that there was a window of time for breakfast, and we missed that entirely. Also, there were a lot of kids at the home, and they were running through the hallways loudly at an early time in the morning. I can fall back asleep quickly, but if you aren’t into kids, that could be a deterrent.

Loved the repurposing of this old building. So cool it’s being refurbished! Bed comfy, towels fluffy - shared bathrooms clean and large.

Experiencing the family’s children in the communal areas and the assistance given to explore the local areas. The property seems to attract many US and international travellers either competing or exploring the fabulous Leadville environment. The host’s children are a testament to their parenting style. Quite admirable.

it is a stop to bring down the trip to Aspen with nice scenery around this little old historic mining town. people are friendly.

Breakfast was pretty basic, bagels and cereal, but wasn't expecting much either. There were several children staying there and this added to the noise level with shouting, loud footsteps and slamming doors. Walls are thin, you hear everything. My neighbor got up at 4:30 am and I heard his alarm clearly. You can hear if your neighbor just coughs.

It was a quaint building very close to the Main Street. Good for a family experience. Inexpensive place, friendly staff.

Breakfast was good. It is like eating with your family, children everywhere. But they were surprisingly quiet. The room and communal bathrooms are very clean.

We found the bed a bit squeaky for us, and were able to hear much of the movement in the hall outside our room (room 6) early in the morning which made it difficult to sleep.

The room and shared bathroom were both very clean and comfortable, with plenty of amenities in the bathroom. The check in and check out processes were easy, and it's super close to the main street, making walking around town very doable.

Friendly lovely people who host a dorm-like space in Leadville. Low-budget perfection. As kind a set of hosts as you could possibly ask for, clean rooms and bathrooms. Exactly what you want in a hostel-type stay.

Very high prices due to an event being held in Leadville, even though the services are very basic, and some points of cleanliness need to be reviewed (fridge, for example).

Maybe I missunderstood, but I thought it was one bathroom to very two rooms. It is in fact 1 mens and 1 womens bathroom for the entire facility. They are big with two stalls and two locker room showers, but My expectations were not that.
