The king memory foam mattress sunk down too much and made my back hurt. Felt like it should be replaced. Price was pretty expensive for being off-peak season.

The room was very small and just didn't seem like it gave us a warm and welcome feeling. It was crowded with 2 of us and our stuff and kind of felt like sleeping in a closet

The room was quite dark so if you were staying any longer than a night that may be an issue and the bed was very creaky, we couldn't turn over without making lots of noise but it was comfortable!

We stayed for a stop over when driving down to Seattle and the Anchorage was everything we needed. The owner was super lovely and gave us a little care package when we arrived. The location was great a short walk to the beach and had everything we needed in the area (coffee, restaurant etc).

The suite was a little small, but given the footprint of the building, it was fine.

The owners are the nicest we have ever encounter. We loved the little welcome gift they gave us. This is a motel that dates from 1935. The current owners have done a fantastic job remodeling the room we stayed in. The bathroom was up to date--great shower, sink, and the towels were luxurious. The kitchen was excellent, the dog amenities were nicely arranged.

The standard queen room was extremely small (the smallest room I've ever stayed in). Not really even a place to put luggage out of the way. The TV is mounted to the side of the bed instead at the foot of the bed so you have to turn or lie on your side to watch tv. We stayed here the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. I know it is customary for lodging to increase its price on a holiday weekend but the amount this was increased didn't create a good value.

It was clean and I liked that we were given a little "goodie" bag upon check in. I liked that the tv included streaming services.

it was ok,, pacific city or. does not have very many choices of motels, and i waited till the last minute to book a room.i usually stay with friends, to much company to stay with them. i travel a lot, and stay in several motel, hotels a year. so in a pinch the anchorage was ok,it was clean, and conforatable. so it was ok for 1 night. i thought it was a little high priced, but it is the end of summer

Check in was 4pm check out was 11 with NO exceptions. Surf and sand always accommodates us as we travel frequently at a distance. The price of the 1 night was as much as a weekend where we normally would stay. There was no place to sit other than the bed or on a bench in the kitchen area. No conditioner for hair. While we did appreciate the comfortable bed and cleanly room the rate was pretty high for 1 night. We did enjoy the room and staff...just too pricey for where it is

This is just a personal preference, but the air freshener in the kitchen didn't agree with me, too fragrant. I wish there had bee some instructions about the Kuerig coffee brewer.

I loved the suite with the 2 beds, and the kitchenette allowed us to eat our own food. We were greeted warmly with snacks. The room was very comfortable.

We could’ve used another chair in the living room. Otherwise it’s a cozy, nice place.
