Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI know it was weekend before eclipse but here were some things I didn’t like: 1) when booking, was told there would be breakfast at check-in was told restaurant would not be opened for breakfast or lunch (but they gave meal vouchers?!?!) this was a big disappointment because I had guests who stayed and didn’t have a car so they had to either walk or wait for pickup to get breakfast. 2) the heater broke and had to be fixed. The repair man was nice and worked hard resolving the issue. Outside of first night scare and inconvenience, it worked rest of trip
I visited property before committing and thought it was a very nice hotel with a different vibe than main chain hotels.

United States of AmericaThe shower’s temperature is bad. You set the temperature of the water you want for your shower and it’s like someone randomly flushed a toilet somewhere in the building and you get scolding hot water at random intervals of your shower. My husband and I both experienced it. We aren’t happy and someone with delicate skin will get hurt. The rest of the stay is wonderful.

United States of AmericaI had to check out within an hour of checking in. There was a black, long hair on the bathroom counter, which prompted me to check the rest of the room. The mattress didn't quite fit the frame. Along the headboard was a thick, filthy / dusty bunch of "gunk" (like the room had not been dusted in a long time). The place is really, really old. Not a big deal if the rooms were clean and the cost was maybe 1/3 of what they charged me. Room photos are misleading. If you're used to staying at a big chain hotel, this is not for you. If you don't mind a motel vibe / old inn, you'll probably be okay with this place (if your room is clean). On a positive note, the staff was really nice. The guy at check in even carried my suitcase up the stairs since they didn't have an elevator. When I returned to the desk after an hour, a new person at the front desk was really kind about it and worked on canceling my reservation.

United States of AmericaStaff very friendly on weekdays, but weekends were a different story. Only 1 person manning the front desk while also having to keep the breakfast bar stocked. The increase in room rates for weekends was totally uncalled for as the service decreased in value.
The breakfast was mediocre when all items were available. Had to get there very early or half the items were gone by 7:00 AM. Room was clean and fairly comfortable. Beds were so-so, could use newer style mattresses.

United Kingdomcold night and heating was noisy so couldn’t leave it on. bedding was thin and so I was cold in the night. No breakfast served here either just a token gesture of bagels which to me is just laziness. I took a bagel it was stale. It wouldn’t have been much work to put on a continental breakfast of juices, cereals, bread etc
located where I needed to be. evening meal was very good

United States of AmericaDespite paying for the King Deluxe Room and the $80 dog fee, we had to go to a dog friendly room. It was grungy, and the floors weren't clean. The rooms upstairs seemed significantly nicer and in better condition than the ones downstairs, where people with pets have to stay. Also, there wasn't enough light.
The hotel had a cozy atmosphere and had plenty parking.

United States of AmericaIt’s one of those places that slaps you with unforeseen fees that are nowhere to be found on their website or their Booking.com listing. When I was checking in, the owner pointed to the sign about about the extra pet charge, which meant that on top of our 1-night stay for three people worth $100, I had to pay another $80 for my dog! While the listing does say pet charges would apply, even Booking.com staff admitted on the phone the amount was outrageous. They also had issues getting the owner to be responsive (as did I). Overall, a very bad experience that ruined our stay.
The decor was nice.

United States of AmericaThe bedding was not comfortable at all. The pillows were too stiff, and the sheets were scratchy feeling. The nightstand was super small, with the bulky phone and lamp there, there was barely room to put a bedside water there or a book. The bathroom was dingy. The toilet paper holder was all rusty, which just looked gross and not clean. The shower head-that is the lowest shower head I have ever seen! I am only 5'2 and it was barely above my head! How do tall, even average height, people even shower in there well?? The pool is a LOT nicer in the photos-so that was deceiving. It seemed clean, but the pool furniture needs to be updated, and it was just so dark in there. Did not look like it did in the picture at all.
I didn't hear that a breakfast was included, was it? I can see the Inn is trying for a more modern look, but they still have a ways to go. The stenciled numbers on the doors were cute. The vibrantly painted beds were a cute touch.
