This property is on the quieter side of Clearwater Beach, which is a huge plus since we were there during busy spring break! The beach is right out your door and it’s so amazing!! They provide beach chairs/umbrellas, toys etc. Our family had a 7th floor Beach facing 3 bdrm 3.5 bath that was plenty of space for 7 people. Our extended family had a 2 bdrm on the 3rd floor that was also wonderful! The pool was nice with a bar that served some food- just enough to keep the kids from “starving” before dinner. Well stocked kitchen, short walk to restaurants/stores, convenient onsite parking, and breathtaking views make this a place we’ll definitely come back to!

I did not appreciate the extra charges for overnight parking when we were staying in a suite which was already expensive

Excellent location, very close to beaches, restaurants, etc. Suite was excellent - spacious, clean and lots of good facilities Appreciated the space on second floor to make tea & coffee Although we didn’t make use, we liked the offer of beach chairs, towels, etc.

The ocean views are not like in the pictures. Most of the rooms have very partial views of the beach. The hotel sits back from the beach, there is a parking lot and a few houses between the hotel and the beach. If you aren’t about the beach view it is a great place but the pictures on Booking.com are a bit deceptive when it comes to the view. Additionally, there was a $19.69 discrepancy in price. While this isn’t much, the Booking.com price wasn’t honored.

Pool bar was not working during our stay

The rooms are spacious, newly refurbished and with very well equipped kitchen. Rooms and hotel grounds were clean and you could see staff working throughout the day in the halls and pool grounds to keep everything perfectly clean. Hotel is located just next to the beach with nice views from balconies and pool terrace over the beach. As we stayed during the quite/shoulder season the hotel was not very crowded and we could enjoy peaceful stay. Small gym was also a plus.

They didn't have breakfast. You need to pay $30 per day for the resort fee. You pay $35 per car per day. We were sad to leave

The apartment was very spacious and nice decorated. We love the colors. It has a washer/dryer, dish washer machine. There was a coffee maker in the kitchen. The second floor has coffee, assortment of teas, chocolate, etc. There was a pool and a bar in the 5th floor. Nice under roof parking. The building looks very new.

The Avalon Club has the Greatest staff. We started interacting by person to person phone calls over a week before arriving on property to be sure there would be no surprises waiting. Once there, all staff members were so courteous and respectful that as a human being you had to show them the same love in return. So to Karen and the other staff members, Thanks for a Wonderful Time.

There was a homeless man sleeping on a couch on the 8th floor. That was the floor we were staying on.That was very scary when we found him sleeping there.

We did not know that there was a breakfeast. The place was excellent. All the staff and we saw and dealt with everyone, were all excellent. They all made sure our stay was fantastic.
