Facility was being painted which closed some of the already limited parking. Restaurant patrons also parked at the hotel adding to this problem. TV had issues but the staff resolved them (took 20 minutes of their time). No breakfast. Lobby door was locked when we left in the morning. Booking online said no pet fee … but there was a small fee.

There were several penis drawn on the mural by previous customers. The road noise was loud from the highway. The bed squeaked every time you moved.

One of the bed’s was broke down needs to be replaced they are cheap beds but surprisingly comfortable.

Did not have the breakfast but the location is great had lunch and a few beers at the Big Texan Steak Ranch.

Thin walls. Conversations from the adjacent room could be heard.

Easy access from many roads and highways. The Big Texan Steak House was next door. The ambience was enjoyable. The gift shop in the steakhouse had the usual China made gifts. Nothing new there. But…there was a live rattlesnake in a glass case in the rear of the gift shop. Interesting. There was a horse “hotel” in the back part of the property and I happened to return to my room when ten or so horses were being stabled for the night. Was able to walk up to pen and get close. Beautiful animals. The room was Texas themed. Could benefit a little paint and sprucing up. Everything worked though. Cleaning staff and front desk were polite and helpful.

The beds are really uncomfortable. Toilet needed to be bolted down, it rocked when you sat down or stood up. Shower curtain was too short so water went everywhere when showering. Walls are super thin, we could hear everything going on in the room next door. Ice machine broken. No vending machines.

The exterior was super cute. Check in & check out completely remote. Found an unexpected guest in our room! See pic!

The king room had no windows, no balcony, and the floor was so dirty, that I had to keep my shoes on. 😣 The cleaning lady also started immediately banging on my door for me to get out.

The breakfast was delicious, and the room was very lovely, spacious, and quaint! ❤️ I loved all of the TX decorations! 🤠🐎 The owners were very accomodating, and didn't charge extra to have my big fluffy dog with me. 🐕

The rooms are old, the tub was not very nice looking so I would never take a bath in there, especially a juccuzi bath! Other than the tub, everything seemed clean. The noise from other rooms was too loud for sleeping comfortably.
