Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI wish there was more to do in the ski valley. My wife does not like to ski and it would be nice for her to have other activities to do in the ski valley while I'm skiing, for instance cooking enrichment lessons.
I like the ski valley. The skiing is great.

United States of AmericaKing suites without balconies. One of the most expensive rooms in the hotel and you don’t have something that is fairly standard in regular rooms at the competing hotels in the ski valley. The hot tubs were nice but the pool wasn’t warm enough to swim in. While the food was good, the open kitchen in the 192 restaurant leaves you smelling like whatever meal period just happened.
The proximity to the slopes is the absolute best. Having the ski rental, ski shop and restaurant all on the same floor was extremely convenient. All the amenities are there and there isn’t much left to be desired. Private car to go in to town is a very nice touch. Everyone was extremely pleasant - several employees stood out - the manager Andy from the restaurant and Brandon the bellman/driver both went above and beyond during our stay and are excellent representatives of the hotel.

United States of AmericaThe variety of food. There’s not enough options that are not so rich and heavy. There are also not enough places to get simple things like a muffin or burrito without such a fuss or wait.
The Blake is nestled in the mountain. The views and river are spectacular. The bathroom in the rooms is spacious and stocked full of toiletries. It’s elegant without being pretentious. Valet was exceptional and I enjoyed the pro-dogs atmosphere.

United States of AmericaThe hotel room was carpet and it felt so gross. I would love to see a hard surface floor replace carpet as it would feel much cleaner. Especially since pets are allowed... carpet is just so gross. Fabric headboards and fabric on the platform of the bed feels yucky too, as well as 9 throw pillows in the room. We tossed them all in the corner. We can't stand staying in places with so many things in the room that can't possibly be deep cleaned to our satisfaction between guests. Our last day there was a roach in the closet area. The housekeeping service does a phenomenal job cleaning. These things are not a reflection of them. Those things are just out of housekeeping's control. We are concerned that over the next couple of years that those things are really going to look and feel more and more disgusting. The hallway on our floor smelled the first several days of our stay from people smoking in their rooms. Thankfully we couldn't smell it in our room. It would be nice if no smoking was strictly enforced in the building. The hotel was clean enough this time, but we have our concerns about the near future.
Loved everything!!!! Awesome staff. Room size and layout were perfect. The ski valet was amazing! Location of the hotel to the lifts can't be beat. Garage parking that was included was such an awesome amenity. This has been the most relaxing ski trip our family has been on. Staying at The Blake makes everything so convenient and easy. We loved being able to get everything we needed all under one roof... food, spa, ski rentals, drinks, etc. We plan to be back as long as the hotel maintains our desired level of cleanliness.
