Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNo direct access from the parking garage to the building. You have to go out and all the way around. Also, no fridge and the television didn’t work. Luckily the view made up for that!
I loved the view, the bed, and the location for getting to the Auditorium Theater.

IrelandIt's a very classy looking place and therefore I'm not sure if providing paper plates and plastic cutlery for breakfast is the best choice.
We absolutely loved the view from our room, especially the night view. The room was clean, very very spacious with high ceilings and big bay windows. The bathroom had a nice big bath and we also welcomed the litlle "bar area" with tea/coffee facility in the room.

AustraliaAmazing view of the lake from our 1 bed apartment, it was so large. So nice to be able to spread out. Comfortable beds, excellent water pressure and and a proper soaking tub. Hotel is on the 40th and top floor of the building, so has only a limited number rooms and the best view. Parking is available under the building. Would highly recommend, wish we could have stayed longer!

United States of AmericaAt the beginning A little confusión to get in and out of the hotel since the hotel is in the 40th floor of the building where are other offices which we got used to later. It is like staying at nice beautiful condo building. It is very comfortable and very quiet.
Beautiful views,!!! very clean hotel, comfortable beds, very spacious room. We had double beds, chairs, a desk, tv, closet, mini fridge, coffee, etc. Location: close to everything in Chicago downtown. Entrance to the parking is next to the building. The hotel is on the 40th floor of the building.- views are Amazing !!! My room had big windows-top to floor- sit down on the chair and you can see Chicago downtown. At night the views are very beautiful! Their Lounge has amazing views as well. They offer coffee, water, fruits, snacks, etc. There is a lot security in the building and security guard at all times at the desk on the first floor. I highly recommend this hotel.

UkraineThe breakfast was quite ascetic. I would add some sliced meat and cheese just not to have all things sweet.
The hotel is perfectly located if you want to spend time in the Loop. The view from the room and the breakfast lounge is breathtaking. The staff was very helpful.

ItalyBreakfast is continental only and therefore is all about sugar sugar sugar; there are processed sweets, super sugary yogurts, fake jams and sugary cereals. I hope they will reconsider this choice.
Perfect location, elegant building, very quiet and spacious room. Amazing views from each room, breathtaking sights of Chicago buildings and lake. I would totally stay again.

United States of AmericaI was upgraded to a lake view and it was GORGEOUS. The view from the guest lobby was beautiful as well. A lot of reviews mentioned it was difficult to get to, but it really wasn't. If you're an experienced traveler and/or can read signs, this place is a gem. My room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was awesome. This may have been the safest hotel I've ever stayed in given it's location inside of the financial building. When returning to Chicago, I will very likely stay here again.

United States of AmericaThe hotel was a little difficult to find. If there were a sign near the entrance to CBOE or on Van Buren that would have probably saved me 15 minutes of walking around.
