Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNot much floor space, lack of luggage storage options - quite cramped with four people and four suitcases but we sort of expected that going into it. Lack of heating was a problem, particularly with lack of blankets and duvets in the room (although it's possible the staff could have sorted this if we'd asked, but we didn't think to ask until after the office had closed at 9:30pm) - it did get quite cold overnight. The patio furniture on the terrace was quite poor quality, could do with being replaced. Some of the curtains are inadequate - it was quite bright overnight inside the caboose (which disturbed a couple of us sleeping) due to outside lights shining through and even brighter when the sun rose, earlier than when we wanted to get up. None of these reasons would put us off staying again or preclude us from recommending to other - we enjoyed our stay!.
A unique place to stay! The caboose is very cool. The terrace outside was great, lovely place to have breakfast. They've done a great job keeping the character of the caboose while converting it into a good place to stay. The magazine was good giving the history of the place. Beds were comfortable. Shower was better than expected. Staff were friendly. The free coffee was a good offering (it was cold when we picked it up - but microwave in the room meant we could reheat). Room also had a fridge.

United States of AmericaLighting was limited/dimmer than would have liked. There was a tube of toothpaste left in the bathroom and there were some nerds candy on the floor in one area.
We stayed in the Rail Car. It was super cute with lots of railway specific decor. Close to town and the Grand Canyon which was our reason for the trip. Very friendly staff and made for an experience with the unique items they have. It was quiet. Parking right in front of the rail car. Good value for the cost.

United States of AmericaNoise was a bit disturbing from the next room over. Would have been nice to have a little more sound proofing or another room between us and noisier guests.
The location was very convieniant to everything we wanted to do. My son went wild over sleeping next door to a caboose!

United States of AmericaI don't really have any dislikes but will say that the prices for lodging are so low that you can't expect certain things you find in much more expensive motels & hotels. For instance, there isn't a breakfast service nor things like hair dryers nor iron & ironing board... not things I ever need anyway. Bring shampoo and conditioner if you need more than one small packet of each, but then all you have to do is ask Nikki and I'm sure she will give you more packets or anything I've listed here.
The motel & RV park are on the outskirts of Williams, AZ, nestled at the edge of a huge pine forest. There is a sense of tranquility and being in nature even though the shops and restaurants of Williams are 5 minutes away. The motel is made up of several train cabooses. Nearby is a long restored train car with a wide wooden balcony with 3 different sized rooms. Behind the motel office are groupings of stone cabins, 3 cabins to each stucture. These hail from the glory days of Route 66, probably built in the 40s. We've stayed in the king-bed cabin twice now and the main room and bathroom are large. It's been updated but still feels quite retro with an ample mini-fridge, microwave, small coffee maker and a solid wood table and high-back chairs. Open the door and around the corner of the cabin is the forest. We stayed in the large room of the train one time. It was fun and spacious. There is an indoor pool across from the motel office and the office has a mountain cabin feel, with a small market. The woman we interacted with, Nikki, has been so friendly, kind and helpful during every one of our three stays that we are fast becoming "regulars."

United States of AmericaFor me I travel 200plus days a year. This was something different than a Holiday Inn. Could use a luggage holder rack.
My room smelled like someone smoked in it . I would recommend bigger tv. Coffee was better then the holiday Inn.
