Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere was a “rust” stain at the bottom of our toilet… it would not go away. People do not want to see that every time they use restroom. Change the toilet. It’s was a great room with balcony, other than that.
The location was fantastic, walking distance to many places.

United States of AmericaThe hotel, in general, is nice but shows its age and some wear despite a recent-ish styling upgrade. The hotel's placement makes the freeway noise a big factor, and it's always loudly present if you open a window to enjoy the sea breeze or views. To top it off, the ancient AC in our room was so loud that it made it difficult to have a normal conversation and went on and off all night waking us up several times. Their pool and surrounding area were also nice but very crowded, so the pool, jacuzzi, and fire pits are at a premium. There is no pool attendent, so used towels are abundant and everywhere.
The hotel sits directly above the flower fields, so our views were amazing. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Safe parking. Nice staff!

United States of AmericaThe accommodations were OK, the bed was horrible. Thin mattress made for uncomfortable evening to sleeep. Plus, queen feather pillows really don't work for a good night's sleep. Why not have a separate light switch for the shower/tub and the bright big mirror? When you wake up early in the morning, the frosted glass on the bathroom door does shine very bright... waking up the other person in the room. Too bright if you ask me. When you close the curtains, and the room is pitch black and you need the bathroom, you will stumble because there is no nightlight to get you to the bathroom. I had to use my cell phone as a flashlight. Very dangerous, especially for kids. One could fall down. I found myself taking tiny steps back to the bed, hoping I was not going to hit a door, a chair, table. A very small gift shop... more like a kiosk, where no one is assigned it to. You have to pay for it at the front desk. This does not make sense. If you are close to an amusement park, why not have concessions, gifts for your customers to buy as mementos. Starbucks/Bar really does not work. If I want to go to starbucks and stand in line there, I will do that. This combo does not work. No one to tell you that you need to stand in line at the bar, to place your food order. What's that all about? Then wait to see if the servers bring your food to you. I watched servers ask each table that had people sitting at it if these plates were their orders... not organized, not properly staffed. Not much to choose from on the menu. When we checked out, I reviewed my bill... what exactly is with all the fees? I understand the local and city taxes, but assorted fees? Are they really essential, needed? Probably not. Most reviews say it is ridiculous to have that fee there.
Location was close enough to Legoland to walk to it. But the map the hotel gave us is not to scale. You really do have to walk at least 1/4 mile to get to the Legoland hotesl parking lot. The room was adequate. 4 Queen size feather down pillows on the bed for a king bed. Th eblackout windows do work. I did like the hand/body lotion, the shampoo and conditioner, nice natural scent. This hotel is trying to be more eco-friendly by not having plastic containers like mini shampoo, soap, etc. Room came with small refrigerator which is needed for all the water you need as you use the air conditioner, you get real thirsty. There is a pool to swim in, its called a quiet pool. We did not use the pool. The check in was somewhat easy, except for the confusion on my last name. When we checked in, the employee tried to add me to Hilton Honors, but there was some problem with their system. It said my name was already listed. It is very easy to have the same first, last name. I said that is not me, I am a native Californian. I even presented my driver's license. He had the issue of trying to enter my name/address...

United States of AmericaWe waiting over an hour for our breakfast to be served. The waitress came once to take our order and never seen her again thereafter. When our food was delivered, they had missed an order. The manager took off the drinks from our bill for the “inconvenience” and extended our check out by 1.5 hours. Overall, besides this incident the stay was pleasant.
The location and grounds were the best part.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast seemed disorganized and there was a lack of service. My husband’s sandwich was flavorless and the kids waffles were super soggy; we’re not the type to complain so we didn’t say anything while we were there but it might be worth tightening up.
The location & amenities are awesome, we enjoyed the activities room & the arcade and will look forward to coming back and using the pool & splashpad~very family friendly

United States of AmericaGetting upcharged for things like parking and "activities," whatever that means. Being forced to turn over private information and data access and join the Hilton cult in order to access free wifi and then the signal was poor after all that. The restaurant was kind of mind-bogglingly disorganized. HVAC was really loud and woke me up several times a night.
The pool was nice. The room was clean and in good condition.

United States of AmericaI am bit confused with charges to my card, when i booked it showed Breakfast included.. however Hotels definition of breakfast is Bagel Coffee and some cup cake. This is truly misleading and I had to spend extra for breakfast. Coupons provided are not used effectively, I requested them to use the coupons to settle some expense but you have to use it on same day or it goes to waste.
Loved the location as we were visiting Legoland and its walking distance. Fire seating outside by the pool is amazing as well.

This hotel is located in a very convenient area close to the outlet and Lego Land. They even provided free shuttles to nearby places. The nearby La Jolla beach is the best to visit.
