The staff were fine, just not stellar. The front desk staff met my question with a huge sigh before answering. The wait staff in the restaurant was reluctant to ask about a variation from the printed bar menu and the bartender disappeared for at least 7-8 minutes after we placed an order in the bar before returning and then beginning to work on it. It just seemed a little off.

While this is an older facility, it was very clean. The rooms were large. Temperature was good. Location, right next to the Berkley Springs state park, was fantastic. The food in the restaurant was also good. The garden areas around the hotel had lots of little sitting places. I would easily stay there again.

The fitness room was supposed to open at 9 and didn’t open till 10. The time of the fitness room was not posted anywhere

We arrived about 15- 20 minutes before the restaurant closed and were not seated. Disappointing for us and lost revenue for the Inn.

Quaint and clean setting in a beautiful location. Breakfast food was good.

The Country Inn is centrally located so that you can walk to all of the sights and right next door to the mineral springs. The restaurant was wonderful. The selection was excellent and the food was wonderful

It was so comfortable, the staff was super accommodating and the food was the best! It was the most relaxing visit! Everything within walking distance; the fitness room was also great - not a lot of equipment but the right equipment

Bed was a bit springy for me.

The cozy fireplace in the lobby, the excellent bar/restaurant, the helpful staff, and the cute historical decor. Downtown area was cute, and I will explore the surrounding trails more next time.

The rooms were a bit dated with only a few outlets in the room, so it was a bit of a hasle plugging in our phones and watches. Toilet was oddly placed in the bathroom but functional.

Overall, a very cool place to stay, right next to the Berkley Springs State Park and the Spa at the park. Everything in the town is close to the hotel. The room was pretty big and spacious. The matress was great...normally have issues with hotel matresses amd not feeling great after waking up. We were in the building behind the main building and it was pouring rain the next morning, but they had a covered walked way to get to the lobby and restaurant. Also, was able to plug in my car to get a few more miles in one of there 3 EV spots. Resaurant served great food and the cost was average when comparing around town. The Staff were very pleasent and welcoming.

historic property, with updates, but also keeping a number of original features like heat lamps in the bathroom, colorful hallway wallpaper. Liked the mix of old and new which gave the inn character. Liked that they still used physical keys instead of swipe cards

The clerk at the desk when we checked in was very accommodating, in that she was able to book us for two nights. I had inadvertently only booked one night. However, her directions on how to get to our room (in a separate building) were not very clear. She spoke very fast. A little map would have been helpful.

The room setup is great. Lots of space for luggage. Bathroom is well appointed with hair dryer, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Shower is roomy, with very good water pressure. Beds are comfortable. Food in the restaurant was good, especially the Sunday brunch. On the wall in the hallway near our room was a framed History of The Country Inn of Berkeley Springs.

Furniture in our suite (Betty Lou) was lovely, Victorian, very appropriate but not really comfortable. (although we understand the idea) Our in-room coffee pot was inoperable and made a mess but not a horrible thing since the coffee downstairs was available 24/7.

Location. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was courteous and good natured. Great for a short get-away (couple), peaceful and quiet. Loved the coffee & tea set-up in the reception area. We really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and the Roman baths at the adjacent park.

The towels were the worst I think I have ever had. They were dingy gray & rough.
