Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The layout of the room and the amenities were excellent! The location was within walking distance of the hot springs. The owner was very helpful and friendly, definitely a great host.

If you're looking for constructive criticism I have 2 comments. 1) I never like a barn door separating a bathroom, it's not very private. 2) The king pillows were too hard and compact, the mattress and other bedding were great.
The cabin was beautiful, clean and modern. Location was perfect.

The property was very clean and just a few minutes from our favorite coffee shops and restaurants. We also really enjoyed sitting out by the fire place in the evenings.

Nothing it was great!
I loved the modern look from the outside of the room to the interior set up. When we arrived it was very clean and well organized. There was a lot that came with our room such as a Keurig, a microwave, silverware and much more. The view from our room was nice as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Limited to just one vehicle for parking on the property and just a little bit hard to find at first. But that could have just been google maps.
It was very nice, the room was just perfect for me and my guest plenty of room. Clean and close to the springs and restaurants.

Such a fantastic spot!! We were able to go not long after it opened and so thankful that it was a bit spur of the moment as it wouldn’t have been open if I’d planned far ahead! We stayed on our way to telluride from Dallas. The options for stopping are not great so we decided to try Pagosa springs this time after going through on our last visit. The drift was so great. Facilities are so nice, location perfect. We wet so pleased with our stay and will absolutely be back!!

There’s nothing not to like about these units!
Excellent location! Kris was very helpful and even allowed me the opportunity to enter the unit 1hr early. The unit is brand new! Excellent finishes, modern, very clean and comfortable! This will be my go to place for all future solo trips to Pagosa!

Because this is a new property, we had a bit of difficulty navigating to the location. As The Drift becomes established, there will be more information readily available to potential lodgers. We have no doubt that this will become an incredibly popular property!
The cabin had a modern aesthetic and was well-appointed. The Drift is in a prime location, within walking distance from downtown restaurants and amenities. We especially appreciated the quick, contact-less check-in.

Be sure and spend some time with the hand control unit for setting room temps. Also, have your logins for streaming tv if you have to resort to that?
Great vibe, community of several units in a court yard for socializing or not. Super quiet, heated floors are a treat, spacious, and the small fridge actually has a real freezer. Great walk in shower, king bed with two bunks in a nook to themselves plus all the basic stuff we needed. Able to walk to great restaurants on the river walk.
