The shower head was to big for the shower. Just needs a regular shower head and turn the hot water up on it to. The sink got really hot but the shower not so. It’s probably the control in the handle at the hot and cold probably needs adjusting to allow more hot water in.

It was nice and cozy. We were in a room that was tucked off in the corner of the house that was perfect. I don’t think anyone knew we were back there besides the staff knowing that the room is there. Had access to the back top floor balcony with a nice cool breeze. The last morning there I got up at 5 and went out to the balcony and ended up going back to sleep sitting out there it was so peaceful.

historic mansion from 1856 full of antic beautiful furniture and lots of details enough free parking space and nice swimmingpool and great brunch together with all the guests the staff especially Tanja was great and the fee tourguide Cindy was amazing!

We weren't sure that our bed sheets were fresh. They smelled "used". Unfortunately we only found out when we returned from dinner later at night, so we didn't ask for fresh ones. But it was only one night anyway.

We arrived earlier and were able to park right in front of the mansion. When we checked in later, we were asked, if we had any pets with us, which we didn't even know was possible. But no pets with us :) Our room was on the same level as the pool. The room was quite small and the shower and toilet were separate from the bathroom sink. We were told that breakfast would be served in the dining room and we were quite surprised as it looked like a museum and we didn't think that we would be allowed to use the ancient furniture, plates and cutlery. Breakfast was really good and we shared a table with a couple from Baton Rouge, which we had visited, too.

Having to brew coffee in a communal area outside our room was a chore.

The staff were incredibly helpful. Guests enjoying breakfast together is a wonderful idea. Sitting in the pool area, wine in hand, watching the sun go down was special.

Check in process wasn’t great - weren’t given any information regarding breakfast or house tour and therefore by the time we surfaced in the morning, it was clear that breakfast was over. So we ended up just leaving and getting something in town on our way out. We also didn’t get to hear anything about the house or the history. Luckily we could google it…!

Charming stay in period house not far from central Vicksburg. We received a room upgrade to a bigger, nicer room which was great. Bed was very comfortable and had all we needed there. Free onsite parking and swimming pool (although we didn’t use it)

The staff and owners were extremely nice and helpful, and the tour of the house was exceptional. They were hosting a Christmas party that evening for their family and friends, but they invited us over, which was so sweet of them.

Would highly recommend. Had exceptional service! The owner and staff went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were taken care of. The Bed and Breakfast was clean and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Definitely a great location for comfort food! Staff helped with things to do around Vicksburg! Close to museums and attractions.

There was anything I didn’t like.

The property was very clean and peaceful and we enjoyed sitting on the 2nd level porch at night where our room was. I’m not a big history person but I totally enjoyed the tour Sunday morning as did everyone in my group. The guide was very informative but also funny. The breakfast was awesome and I will be coming back with my husband and 2 other family couples.

We stayed on the Confederate room and the bed was terrible, but the whole experience was still worth staying there.

The staff and breakfast was incredible! We had a fabulous time. I'd go back just to chat with the staff. The breakfast was outstanding and I'm still craving another taste of the biscuits and gravy and the fresh fruit! Thank you for such a fun experience. We stopped there on our way to the beach and it was so memorable. The hostess even called to check and make sure we made it safely to our destination. So caring!
