Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Towels for the shower were not centrally located (under the bathroom sink or stacked on a shelf near or in bathroom).
Clean and had all the beds advertised and a kitchenette. Good AC.

Management did ask multiple times about the number of people checking in, and even though they knew we were 5 people, we only found 2 little mugs, 2 butter knives and very limited number of pans. Plus, when trying to communicate with them, they took more than a day to respond. We managed to make it work though. Another thing that was really annoying were the upstairs neighbors. I am not a light sleeper but I could not sleep at all the second night because they seemed to start their day at midnight. We even knocked on the door but no response. We understand that’s not on management but it would be good to have a warning, provide some earplugs or talk to the neighbors about quiet hours.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. It had a washer and dryer and they provided some detergent. Two things we really value were getting 3 tickets to the Arboretum and a free coffee from a local coffee shop. We can also tell management tries to be in touch with their guests, even if it’s through automated messages. That makes the guests feel good :)

I didn't receive the code to get in. Took several attempts to reach the owner. We final got the code pushed to us but after 3pm. I requested a 2pm check in. Then we had about 30 minutes to get ready and head out to our concert. Wish we didn't have to rush like that. I had to put most of my makeup on in the car. Not ideal. Don't know why that notice wasn't pushed earlier in the day. Owner acted like I should have already received it when we hadn't.

The location is really good. It's close to the downtown but also there are ground parks and other facilities to do walking, jogging, playing basketball, etc. Highly recommendable.

The outside could have been a little cleaner and maintained better. The closers on the gates didn’t close the gates. We would have felt more secure if the gates were not always open. The patio needed a simple paint job to make it more inviting to be used for its purpose.
The apartment had everything we needed. Everything was very clean and in good working order.

it had a bad smell to it, also the shower knob is hard to turn off and on, the towels can really use an update especially when they were or are stained it could be useful to maybe have a small sample of detergent and small amount of dish soap or dishwasher supplies the sheets were dirty when I fist lifted the sheets there was dirt like someone had been laying in the beds and they were just made back up. also there was urine on the toilet seat that was not cleaned up and no bags in restroom. the location was a ok still a distance from the downtown. the map on the gps does not exactly give you the exact location so it’s a little difficult to find the property maybe a sign for the apartment or complex would be useful.
nice and comfortable very easy entry to the property has everything that’s useful for a long stay.

The neighborhood is a little rough. Gates didn't lock but, the house is secure but door lock. There isn't much cookware but, plenty of utensils, plates and cups.
House was very clean and perfect size for 4 adults. We weren't able to take advantage of the arboretum tickets or free coffee but, it's great that it's offered.

The area is very quiet and safe. The upstairs neighbors can be noisy (it's not their fault at all, but the ceiling is thin) so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Also, the heat is quite loud as well. That would not stop me from staying there again though; it is a very sweet place with hosts who make sure you have a nice stay there.
This was a fantastic place, cozy, comfy, and clean. The rooms are quite big, and the kitchen has pots and pans and such. The beds were comfy, and it was a lovely place to stay for 3 nights. Very responsive hosts who always respond quickly to messages and who are flexible. Easy check in and check out. The free tickets to the arboretum are also a very nice gesture.

We loved everything about the property! Our stay was exceptional and everywhere we needed to go was not too far. The apartment was exactly what we needed and the kids loved it so much they didn’t want to leave! You can bet we will book with them again, hopefully soon!

Neighbors above walked with heavy feet ALL night and ALL morning. Were dirty towels left in bathroom from previous occupants I’m assuming. Was never sent a door code….had to call and get it sent to us after check in time. First time we called, no one answered.
Good location. Cute property. Decorated super cute.

i hated that we couldnt check in till right on the dot! there was hail and rain and tornados but no budging for the check in. the beds where horrible! you could feel the metal bars in your back. when it rained it flooded into the windowsill and we had to sit there moping it up through the storm. when we arrived there was a stained towel on the rack and hair in the tub. for the outrageous cleaning fee I expected better and forget contacting the owners, i reached out for our " free tickets" and got a reply the day we where leaving. the walls are very thin and you can hear every step around you.
i liked that there was a easy code to enter the property, and the lock was auto locking so i didnt have to worry about locking it or forgeting the code.
