Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaMy only complaint is that I wish the bar was open later than 9pm! Not a big deal, though.
Absolutely gorgeous location. We had a lake view room and the private balcony was so nice! The on-site restaurant and bar was very good. We arrived in Estes Park a few hours before check-in time, and they were happy to let us check in early.

United States of AmericaThe listing was confusing. I searched for a room with a Jacuzzi tub. This property has such a room but the listing provided in the search did not include the tub. In addition the listing has a bathtub/shower listed separately from a spa tub. Our room only had a shower/tub. I would not consider it a spa tub. It made the stay disappointing because we were specifically looking for that feature in our stay. The food from the on-site restaurant (room service) was disappointing especially given the cost. The food was bland.
Convenient location for access and shopping and has the Estes Park Lake in its backyard.

United States of AmericaI expected the room to be a little nicer for the money. The walls are super thin and we could hear everything from the other rooms and there was alot of running water noise in our bathroom. Seemed like there was a big leak somewhere behind our shower wall.
The lodge and restaurant was very nice and the food was great!

United States of AmericaParking was a bit challenging. The coffee on the room was not good.
The bartender was excellent. He went out of his way to assist me, beyond the scope of being a bartender. I didn’t get his name. Our anniversary dinner at the Dunraven was excellent.

United States of AmericaWay overpriced . $350 for a room in a hotel that was dated . game room reminded me of a 80s movie . not much offered besides a room and putting a cheap robe in closet doesn’t make it a resort . no breakfast offered and restaurant is overpriced as well.
location was great

United States of AmericaRoom: We were put in a basement handicap accessible room with bathroom and shower layout for wheelchair. This is not what the reservation was for. Dinner: Had a group dinner and purchased two bottles of red wine. Surprised that they didn't have proper wine glasses for us to use at this "resort"!! Front Desk Personnel: One of the gents was rude and defensive when asked about why we were assigned a basement room without view (we were supposed to get "garden view").
View: Located right off the lake. Able to walk around the lake and take in the view

United States of AmericaThe cost of the stay as compared to the facilities was a bit less than desired. The property needs some TLC—countertop chipped significantly in room, toilet running constantly, outdoor balcony wood exposed and splintering. The on-site restaurant was just so-so
The property was nice and the view was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly.

United States of AmericaThe room was stupidly designed with the vanity and sink in the room instead of in the bathroom. That makes for quite a hassle in many ways. The patio outside needed to be cleaned, there were spiderwebs everywhere and it felt rather dirty. The patio could so easily be an amazing part of the experience, but they really dropped the ball on that one by not maintaining the space and providing more relaxing seats/table. The vending machine is located on the 3rd floor exclusively and nothing was stocked. The room itself was nice and clean, but the bathroom could use a little bit of work.
The view out back was really quite superb. The lobby and entrance to the Dunraven were elegant and gave the place a nice upscale vibe. Staff were all super friendly and cheery. The lakeside view/location is the main selling point of this place if you're looking into one of their hotel rooms.

United States of AmericaThe lake view room on the 1st floor is actually the basement with a lovely view but you have to sit on a high chair in the balcony to enjoy it! Fortunately we were able to change to the 3rd fl the 2nd night & enjoy the balcony!
The staff was very accommodating as we asked for an early check in, a late check out and a change of rooms for the 2nd night! The room is comfortable & spacious! For our anniversary, we got some chocolate covered strawberries, which we thoroughly enjoyed, thank you!
