Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe air conditioners were quite dusty/dirty and rooms a bit run down- aside from being very stuff every morning we weren’t in the room much so it wasn’t terrible considering the price, location and avoiding lots of people by staying at a smaller hotel.
The staff were fantastic! So sweet and accommodating, the pool was perfect and serene, and the location is truly what makes it a great spot. I liked that it was a smaller boutique hotel and not a large chain property!

United States of AmericaThe shower had not been cleaned in a very long time, there was mildew and hair in there. Did not realize there was only valet and no self parking. Hotel walls were thin and we could hear everything going on in other rooms. Mini fridge and microwave would have been nice for price.
Great location

United States of America$25 a night Valet parking only on site Elevator out of order & apparently has been for sometime and they have no intentions on fixing since we overheard hotel is being sold for new building. Cracks in sink & toilet tank lid also most likely not doing any repairs.
Location. Park & walk. Bath Towels were nice.

United States of AmericaThe elevator did not work and I was not apprised of that before I booked, or I probably would not have booked there. The pool area was disheveled and the pool was not clean enough for me to swim. The hotel is very old, and the room had decades of different paint slapped and spattered here and there, wishy-washy caulking, stained carpets. There was just a plain little TV with no cable guide and not much to choose from. The bar and food area closes fairly early, and there are no signs up to let you know this ahead of time. I walked around the neighborhood and didn't find much to eat very close by, you'd have to take a bit of a longer walk. There is only valet parking and they charge $25 a day whether you get your car or not. Somehow I miss that on the website.
All of the staff (except for the bartender) were warm, friendly and exceedingly helpful. They are pet friendly. And the location worked very well for anyone going to the Vinoy Park or water area.

United States of AmericaThe curtains had a big rip in the outer one and they were very worn. they needed to be replaced. the little stand between the beds had a drawer that would not stay closed so a hazard to getting up at night. Given the price we paid expected better standards.
we were going to music venue and did not want to drive every day. we were able to walk to and from venue. they had valet to take care of car. they had a bar on site if you wished to use.

United States of AmericaNo other feasible options for parking besides valet - street parking was available but had to move vehicle every two hours to avoid ticketing according to staff. The outdoor pool was accessible from the public sidewalk without needing a key, which felt a little insecure.
This hotel was so cute! Had an older charm to it with updated room decor - felt very Floridian! Appreciated having an exercise room available. Valet and concierge were both friendly and welcoming! And the location was perfect, especially for the price - we were able to take a quick stroll to get to the pier to shops and restaurants.

United States of AmericaThings to note, they do not have an elevator and it is valet parking only. But it is a great walkable location and cost was affordable.
This is a historic hotel, it is over 100 yrs old, which makes it charming and comfortable, but not flashy and new. The bathroom was clean but small and quaint with black and white penny tile. The bedroom floors were faux hardwood and the beds were very comfortable with soft sheets, fluffy bathroom towels and comfortable AC. The building is nearly soundproof and you hear nothing from the urban community like buses or street traffic. It reminded me of a historic European boutique hotel.

Czech RepublicThe rooms and their equipment are old and would benefit from refurbishment. I stayed 2 times so far and this is only unsatisfying thing. But hotel staff was always very helpful (no hot water = new room immediately, AC controls not working = fixed controller immediately). I would appreciate if the hotel had breakfasts.
Great staff. Very good location. I would recommend to a friend.

United States of AmericaWe have stayed here several times over the years and it feels like the cleanliness has dropped. The ancient elevator was broken this time, too. We are fine going up to the third floor via stairs, but it would have been nice to know beforehand.
The location is fantastic and the price for the location is not bad. The staff is very friendly.

location near water and other attraction like Kosciusko monument :) Quite place. Parking extra paid $25 which is not so nice but not necessairy to go for, since the public available at no charge from 10.00 pm until 8.00 am.

SpainI needed an invoice from the hotel to be reimbursed by the governmental agency for which I work, but I was refused this document. The lady at the desk argued Booking provided an invoice. I explained that this is not considered valid by the agency I work for, but she kept refusing.
Location is central near downtown, restaurants. There is a small fitness room, but well-equipped considering its size. The cleaning staff were kind and effective.

United States of AmericaI know it is an older hotel, but the shower did have some strange stains in it. I hope in future renovation projects the shower tiles are fixed up. But my only complaint about the hotel was shower tiles, not bad!
The location was good, the workers were friendly and it was very clean. You got the normal squeaks and noises of an older hotel, but this one had great size rooms and modern finishes. I would still here again.

The staff is INSANELY amazing. Best customer service I’ve experienced in a very long time. A couple friends and I were in town for a wedding and wanted a hotel that was walking distance for the pier activities, coffee shops, etc! It was the perfect location and very clean. Smaller more intimate bed and breakfast style rooms, but the hotel has so much character and amazing staff that we honestly didn’t even notice the smaller size. 10/10 would recommend!

United States of AmericaParking. I tried going back to the listing but I don't see anywhere where it mentions that parking is $25 a day. Maybe I need to look back at it again, but I don't recall seeing that. Parking is valet only and I don't believe it is on site.
Great location, very walkable area for a city in FL. Staff were friendly, and the building was a cool historical location. I thought it was comfortable clean and safe. Very close to the Palladium Theater if you are seeing a show there.

United States of AmericaBathroom and closet layout was a little disjointed. Bathroom was small for two people. Bathroom and closet doors open against each other along with the main entry door to the room. Older hotel so some quirks like that are to be expected. Not the hotels fault at all but a lot of homeless people in the street and park nearby (about a block or so away).
Location, friendliness of staff, comfortable bed. Cleanliness of room. Accommodates and welcomes pets. Decently priced compared to other hotels in the downtown area. Close/Walking distance to all Downtown St. Pete activities and businesses.
