The furnishings are very minimalistic so there is very little room to unpack anything. There were no closets, dressers, bedstands or bathroom counters. I used the bed to lay out toiletries. It was comfortable for just one person. I just realized that it was because of the particular room that I booked as a Corner Queen. Other rooms are furnished differently.

The people are wonderful. Everyone that I met was very kind and helpful. The location was great with easy access to many subway lines. The room was really adorable and very clean. I was on the 22nd floor and there was absolutely no noise. This is the quietest hotel room I ever had. I am unsure if it is the room design or that I was so high up but it was great! The shades are floor to ceiling and very well designed. The thermostat was easy to use. The room safe was great and they even provided an umbrella. They provided morning coffee and held my luggage for me after checkout.

The only complaints are 1. Your room is right across from an office building. So that’s your view. 2. There was a thumping noise all night that wouldn’t let me sleep. It wasn’t super loud just loud enough to be annoying.

Great location. Super friendly staff. The complimentary water is a very nice detail. The room was very clean and the style was modern. It is right by a subway stop. I stayed for an entire week and never encountered any issues.

I do not think it is a hotel issue but i was on 8th floor and the sounds from the street were still noticeable during night. (Garbage pickups)

The Hotel is near subways, location is great and the staff was helpful. They had a discount towards one world observatory, for local restaurants. Also they allow to keep the suitcase with them on the first and last day.

My only complaint was that the walls are thin—I expected exterior noise, because it’s New York, but we also could clearly hear conversations in other rooms on our floor. Some soundproofing would be nice.

So incredibly convenient, very near multiple subway stations and the Staten Island ferry terminal, some good food options and activities nearby as well, perfect spot for our NYC vacation. Room was super clean, bed was extremely comfortable, shower was nice, housekeeping service was excellent, all staff were friendly and helpful!

Last two days here, housekeeping only made the bed and replaced the towels, didn't remove any trash or give us our two free waters for those 2 days.

Rooms were very small, and we had a deluxe room. Bathroom didn't have any room to put your bathroom items that you would keep in the bathroom, ie toothbrush, hair product, make-up, etc.

The staff at The FIDI were fabulous. Very friendly and helpful.

My flight got delayed 4 times. Arrived next day just to find out I had been charge a cancelation fee for not showing up on the 17 of march. I arrived on the 18 of March… changed my resevation and now I am staying at the hotel.

We missed the possibility of having breakfast in the hotel. However, you can find some delis in the hotel surroundings.

Good price, a strategic location for going to sightseeing, very friendly and supportive staff (thank you!), clean hotel and rooms. The room is only for two people, no side bed for kids possible since the rooms are small. Two bottles of water every day, map of NewYork on the reception, WiFi available. 24/7 reception support.

The room was very small.

The room was clean, the staff was nice and the area was quiet since we were by Wall Street. The transit station was a couple of feet from the hotel which was a plus as well.
