Wonderful cabin in the woods of Idyllwild, everything you need both get away and reconnect:)

    • Luxury Triple Room

a chair somewhere with some back support would be great. Living room couches were for slouching, but no good chair to sit in to read or relax. Also, the heater controls took a bit to understand. Perhaps they could be turned on the day of a new arrival?

a little quirky, a little eclectic, and that made it all so comfortable:) Primary bedroom king bed is very comfortable, spa was recently refreshed and up to temperature, kitchen was immaculate.

The kitchen needs an update! Lacking some basic cooking pots etc. plus an odd assembly of dishes. The sink has a faucet that is very impractical. The mini refrigerator hasn't been defrosted in a while - the ice section was unusable.

Great central location - we stayed in "the Ponderosa" cabin. The village is just a few minutes away. Comfy bed and a very clean and nice bathroom.

Needs some basic repairs. Chipped paint throughout bathroom. Some cabinets in kitchen would not open and many had no handles. No coffee pot as advertised. Stale wood smell from fireplace throughout room was a problem as I am sensitive to scents.

    Location, outside deck, close parking

The walls are THIN. You will hear people speaking at normal volume through them. Easy fix .. turn the fan connected to the AC and that drowned it out for me. The detergents used to launder the bed linens are very perfumed with a strong chemical smell. I prefer Unscented, personally. Didn’t effect my sleep just wasn’t pleasant.

This place is so cute.. definitely rustic and cozy! The bed was so comfy and perfect to cozy up in after a long day hiking with a lovely fire and a good movie! The shower was hot and the water pressure is perfect!

The doors aren’t sealed well n need to be updated so a lot of cold air comes in. Not very energy efficient. We had to put towels at the base of the doors to keep heat in. And one of the blinds would not close all the way,

Charming, quaint, cabin with a fireplace and modern appliances for the kitchen. The fireplace was the best and note - bring your own wood and kindling available in town at various stores. Beautiful area, deck, fresh air, comfy bed up the stairs, great TV, plenty of seating for us.

The bed frame was too rustic and felt precarious.

The cabin is located near the town. The rooms are cozy and furnished with fairly comfortable funiture. The bed had a very comfortable mattress. The kitchen is very well stocked and the oven worked fine.

the kitchen was fine but had basic amenities; a couple of extra kitchen utensils would have been handy, such as a sieve, a kettle and a non Keurig coffee maker.

Everything about this place oozes charming. the pictures on line do not misrepresent as many other places do. A comfortable stay with character. A short walk into town.

Minor details - the lights in the kitchen barely worked, the shower was clean but funky, no place to hang clothes; nothing that would prevent me from staying again!!

Beautiful spot nestled in the trees and close to town. The cabin we stayed in ( Lodge House) was rustic and charming. We loved sitting outside on our private patio, thinking about who built the cabin, listening to the birds… I wish the weather was cooler so we could have enjoyed the fabulous fireplace!

It was a nice idea to provide bagels. Although there was nothing to toast them with. Also nothing to spread on them. But that didn’t matter by the morning the bagels were so hard we couldn’t eat them anyway. The back yard area is really nice. We enjoyed a late evening there with the stars.

The couch was too small and not really comfy at all. The table to eat was very unstable, we had to be very careful not to put any type of weight on one side or it will just fall.

The location of the cabins is great, just a few steps from the restaurants and shops. The cabin has a good size and was clean and the garden is nice and big enough, with barbecues and a lot of seats.
