The rooms are a bit rustic, maybe out dated, but certainly ok for a 1 night stay. Loved the wall fireplace/heater, but didn’t know how to use it. Luckily, it wasn’t that cold. Walking around the Lodge, almost stepped on a sunbathing rattlesnake. Didn’t know about snakes, so be forewarned.

We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious and the raging river below was beautiful to listen to and watch. Christopher from the bar came out for his break about 8 pm, while we were sitting outside our room taking in the view. He beckoned us to come to him and right across the street was a bear just relaxing by the tree and watching us while we took pictures of him. So much fun! Since we were taking a tour the next morning, we were not able to have breakfast. But they were willing to get breakfast to be packed to go by 8 am. The offerings from the breakfast menu were more for eating in the restaurant and not to go. So we didn’t order anything.

The bar could have used some sprucing up. A very classy restaurant with a dive bar. You felt like you were in two different worlds.

The restaurant on location was had a great menu and the food was excellent. In the afternoon we sat outdoors right next to the river. Very cute and cozy place. I would stay again.

It is old and rather run down. While most of the staff was nice and friendly, some not so much and clearly annoyed by having to be at work.

The shower had such poor water pressure it took quite an effort to rinse the soap off. I have seen dripping taps that produce more water.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had trouble with the TV (new ones have been ordered) and the same staff member happily came to help us twice. We needed to do laundry and were allowed to use their washing machine and dryer. Parking was convenient and of course Sequoia National Park is just up the road. The restaurant overlooking the river is in a beautiful location.

Comfort and looking right into the woods and mountain. Porch was great and not so great with another porch to close, privacy wise. Location to the park and quality restaurant attached was a big plus. History was also interesting to read about.

They only give you a 10% discount on breakfast which seems a bit stingy. Be warned that there's not much to Three Rivers. Its not like other National Park gateway towns (I'm thinking Springdale or Moab) where you stroll around a bustling main street. Its just a few roadside businesses strung out over a mile or two with no sidewalk.

It's a nice motel. The room is decent - a nice shower, a fridge, memory foam (I think) mattress. All completely fine. The best bit of the hotel is the restaurant and amazing views of the river. The restaurant is pricey and the food is good but not great. But the river is beautiful in the day and all lit up at night which makes it really magical so worth every penny.

As room was off the main road, there was a bit of vehicles noise & there was a bit noise for a short time with restaurant /bars visitors at end of night. The room & bathroom was very compact, not much floor space. The decor was quite dated.

Very good location mins away from park entrance & located right next to the river. Free parking, right next to cabin. Motel style room, had all the facilities you could need. Beds were comfortable. Had a lovely dinner at the restaurant

All the accommodations at the entrance are local motels. So your not going to get a city like feel. If you go into it with that expectation you will be great. With kids a pool would have been nice, but it wasn't a deal breaker.

The location was great. It's right at the entrance to the Sequoia National Forest. Their resturant is pricey, but it was VERY good and you can't beat the view. It sits right on the river.

Spiders and spider webs in the room and on wall art. Looks like they have been there awhile. Room needs some TLC. Door didn’t lock that well.
