Set in an historic district, close to the Strand. This is a great place. Full of character. And Graham George and his team do all they can to make you feel welcome. My first night coincided with the Houston storm and i fell in wet mud on the street. The team insisted on washing my wet and muddy clothes. That's going the extra mile. Graham is English which is why you get Heinz beans with the great American breakfast on offer. I enjoyed sitting with him watching the football. A memorable experience.

Minor thing, but one of the TV's in our suite didn't work.

The Manor was beautiful and the staff were terrific! The high ceilings in our suite and the manicured grounds made the stay more impressive. The breakfast Graham prepared was fresh, delicious and filling. Michael and James made getting to and from the airport so easy, and we learned so much history - better than a paid tour!

The property was built in the 1860's so you have to understand it's not going to be super modern but the owners have done a great job making it comfortable. I loved the history and was comfortable. Would go back in an instant

This is a beautiful small inn. It is decorated with very good taste. The location was central to things to see in Galveston. The inn keepers are charming. The breakfast was delicious.

The team was so friendly and accommodating. Everyone was a wealth of information. Made us feel right at home. Close to Cruise ports and restaurants. Not over crowded and easy to find.

We would have enjoyed a cocktail at the bar but it wasn't tended whenever we checked in the evening. We were traveling during slower time of the season so understand it not being tended all the time.

Super nice staff. The included breakfast was one of the best, served by a professional cook. My wife especially enjoyed the attention from the resident cat. It's a nice short stroll the the historic downtown, and a short drive to the Pier.

The only thing for me was I was hoping for a long, hot bubble bath and our room only had a shower, but that was no reflection on the property or staff at all. I should have specified. So FYI...there are tooms with showers and rooms with tubs.

We absolutely loved visiting with Michael (Mikal?) and Rosie! We learned some history of the place and even got a tour! Breakfast was fabulous! More than enough. Very relaxing. We will be back!
