This is not a complaint, for the handicap room, it would have been nice for a table and and coffee setup for the room, maybe one more chair. Like I said this is not a complaint, just an opportunity for improvement.

The street noise was a little surprising for such a tiny town. Also, be aware the rail line is very close and the tracks are active. The train didn’t bother me

Lovely historic hotel. Clean and comfortable room with soaring ceilings. Downstairs bar area was inviting. Remodel bathroom with great sized shower that had plenty of hot water. King bed was comfy!

Not that I didn’t like this, but someone may want to know there is a train that goes through town at night. To me it added to the charm as I’m sure a train came through in 1890.

Beautiful vintage hotel. Decorated with taste. Bed in Room #3 was very comfortable. I love, love the vintage cocktail bar…The 1890 Room. We are going back for New Years Eve.

This is an OLD hotel...so know it is not sound proof, which did not bother us. If you don't have to have complete silence, this is a great place to stay! No refrigerator in the room. FYI, you can hear others talking and walking on the old pine floors outside your door.

This is not a property that has been modernized to accommodate handicapped people. That's the only drawback.

It was an exceptionally maintained hotel. It's also very unique in this small town beckoning to by gone days.

This was the first night of our honeymoon. Our apartment had flooded the day before the weeding so needless to say things were going sideways initially. I had requested rose petals for the floor and around the tub and there was also a bottle of champagne and cookies. The location is in a fantastic small downtown area in a truly romantic setting. I was sent the instructions on getting in earlier in the day and provided all the information needed. We arrived and were able to park right out front. The entrance of the building is amazing and my new bride was blown away. We went upstairs and I opened the door to our room and then I had her go in first and she just froze. Everything that the staff had done was pure perfection. We only stayed the one night but this will now be somewhere we come back to often. I cannot say how amazing this hidden gem is. I had never heard of Hogansville Ga before this and am so thankful I stumbled upon this fantastic hotel!! If you are in need of a romantic get away, look no further!!!!

We hated having to leave.

The Grand Hotel is truly "Grand". It is a beautiful hotel that lets you experience a trip into the past. The blend of history combined with elegant modern touches make it so memorable.
