Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaPhone line to the front desk/concierge from our room would never connect. Wasn’t a terrible concern as we were able to stop by the desk on our way out if we needed anything.
We stayed in the Hacienda portion of the hotel and had a dedicated butler, morning coffee and pastries, and afternoon happy hour with beer and wine, in addition, the shuttle was so convenient and easy to use in our many trips around the Plaza area. And finally, the staff were not only friendly saying hello, they also made a point to stop and ask about your stay every single time.

United States of AmericaBeds not comfortable. We have stayed there a few times in the past, and had a better experience. Kind of feels like they need to do more to keep the place up, to justify the price of the hotel. For the price the main part of the hotel is a better value than the hacienda
Convenient to town. We have liked that there is a light breakfast included, and a comfortable lounge to have happy hour

CanadaFor the price the hacienda was tired. Bathroom needs a renovation as it is dated. Why wasn’t there bottled water in the room?? that was up to me to go and get. I forgot and didn’t have water first night. Splatters on the bathroom wall and not sure what that was and Some water damage and old faucets. A wall attached hair dryer which to me is chintzy. Carpets were old and worn in spots. I did like the property but for the price it needs some tlc.
Firstly staff was awesome. Kevin was a fountain of very appreciated information. Ambience of the property was good. I liked the location and could easily walk to the plaza etc. Had fresh cookies in a basket upon arrival. Bed was comfy. Shuttle service was very convenient and reliable and we used it a couple of times.

United States of AmericaI arrived at 8PM, which is late, I understand. I was told about a butler service and also a shuttle service that came with the room. The butlers did not come to help me to my room, as I was told, but they did come after I called to ask for bottled water. I requested the shuttle service one day, as I did not have a car. It is advertised that they will take you within a one mile radius of the hotel. I was told to come 15 minutes prior to when I needed to be at my location, which I did. However, I ended up waiting 45 minutes for the shuttle, making me more than 30 minutes late to my appointment. If the shuttle is never more than one mile from the hotel, it would seem a 45 minute wait is excessive.
The continental breakfast was served in a 3rd story room with many windows and a nice view. It was sufficient, breads, sweet pastries, yogurt and oatmeal, pretty standard fare.

United States of AmericaOn the web site it stated a pool and jacuzzi . The pool was closed and the jacuzzi was cold. So I wasn’t able to use either. I didn’t find the room to be as comfortable and clean as shown. I went for relaxation and splurged on what I thought would be a very relaxing time. It didn’t offer all amenities as stated. It was just a room 😖Not worth the price at all . I’d been better at the SantaFe spa resort for same price.

United States of AmericaI booked a room for two nights for my wife and myself. On its website, Booking.com states “Breakfast is included in the final price.” Upon check-in, the front desk handed me a paper that listed the various amenities (pool, spa, shuttle service, etc). One of those bullet points says “For Hacienda guests, coffee and pastries are available in the lounge from 7-10am. Guests are welcome to a full breakfast in Amaya from 7-11am” (Amaya is the Hotel Sante Fe restaurant, in the building next door). My first morning, I chose something from the breakfast menu, along with coffee and an orange juice. I was surprised to be handed a bill for $20 something minus a $12 credit. Later that day, I stopped by the front desk to ask about this charge. Their response was shocking. First, they told me Hacienda guests are entitled to a $12 credit at the Amaya restaurant – not a full breakfast (yet every breakfast choice on the Amaya menu was at least $12). I protested and the Manager gave me a series of “explanations” that went from: (a) “you should have been told about the $12 credit at check-in, or by the butler who showed you to your room;” then (b) “we don’t follow what Booking.com says, they have to follow what we say;” to (c) “you could have had free coffee and pastries/juice in the lounge before coming to the Amaya” (note the lounge is in a separate building from the Amaya!); and finally “nowhere on the form we gave you does it say breakfast is complimentary – it just says you are welcome to a full breakfast” (!!!!). All this also ignored the fact that while we were entitled to two of their breakfasts (or credits, if you accept their position), my wife was not having breakfast. It boils down to an otherwise nice hotel using false advertising to mislead its clients, and a management that is willing to stoop to legalistic arguments that they are in the right when clearly they are not.
Large comfortable room with fireplace. Nice lounge. Tasty breakfast (but see negatives). Decent location on the edge of the town center.

Faux, ugly, Conquistador designs, withtactless American Indian artifacts Don’t stay in “the Hacienda”. A complete ripoff. The picture makes this place seem like a small, inviting inn. In fact it is a sprawling multi- level complex

United States of America- “free” breakfast isn’t free - ended up costing us $20+ per day - location is out of town and there is no offsetting feature to this - pool is TINY, there are very few beds for the amount of guests and it’s impossible to get one. Everyone sits around this tiny pool awkwardly. It’s poorly maintained and the hot tub has been fenced off like a crime scene for “covid” but pool is tiny so I don’t understand the difference. - no soap in lobby bathrooms multiple days, staff couldn’t really help wiht anything that was requested of them.
Room was nice, very clean and comfortable

United States of AmericaI read the reviews before booking and was impressed from what I’d read. Hotel had 5 stars and I’d give it a 1 star! Disappointed! We arrived late in the evening. Greeted by friendly staff. The Santa Fe and Hacienda are the same hotel, however they are separated and connected by a walk way. I didn’t know I’d booked at the “Hacienda “ as I thought it was all 1 building. Hacienda is a higher rate( I know this now) more “perks” I was later informed. The rate gives you a butler and some discounts. I don’t know exactly what he is supposed to do as we never were introduced. I did meet a man in the parking lot who directed us where to park. I later learned he was our butler. I don’t know what his job title entails as he never held any doors or offered to help with any baggage. I was told in the morning, we’d meet him. We never did, other than the night we arrived and I wouldn’t call him a butler. For a weekday price , the rate was a whole lot higher than most hotels in the area. Our room was ok, nothing fancy. I’ve paid less elsewhere and had nicer rooms. We stayed 2 nights and it wasn’t until the following afternoon, we were told about the bar on the 6th floor. Open for happy hour, free drinks, patio. We found this information out after we ate breakfast on the Santa Fe side. It would have been nice to have known we could have went upstairs for coffee and had our food brought to us, rather than walk to the other hotel. Breakfast was nothing impressive and does not cater to any food allergies, gluten ect. The rate I paid, breakfast was not free, but a discount was applied. The hotel does not offer military discounts. They did however waive the $21 resort fee- so they said, after we checked out and arrived home I noticed a lodger tax of $21 plus another tax and I’ll be calling tomorrow to be sure they did waive the fee. The rate I was quoted was 260, but with taxes 40 a night. Steep is an understatement!

United States of AmericaThe butler Robert was awesome, and the morning continental breakfast staff were great. The front desk staff were nice, but the bar staff and restaurant staff were rude and acted put out when asking a simple menu question.
Very clean. Liked the location, the fireplace in the room and the nightly free beer / wine happy hour with appetizers morning coffee with continental breakfast on the 6th floor balcony for guests staying in the Hacienda. Love that rooms have a walk-in shower instead of a tub with shower.
