It's tricky as lots of travelers prefer to live out of suitcases while at hotels, but a dresser to store clothes (or an obvious one, if there was one... we didn't see one) would have been great. Still, the suite was excellent!

The suite was gorgeous and worth every penny (and then some).

We booked a suite for 4 people which meant 1 Queen and 1 sofa bed however they only sent up sheets and 1 extra pillow - I had expected two pillows for two people and a blanket!

I didn’t like the soft lights in the bathroom. I need it brighter to do my makeup. I found it difficult to see what I was doing.

The space between the shower and commode is narrow. Whereas other hotels have complimentary conditioner and shampoo, here you have to buy salon products that can cost a lot l.

Breakfast price and quality are good. The Tavern is in the same building which is great. There's a library which you can read and enjoy your food

The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. We had a couple of questions and issues and they responded straight away. Highly redommend. The breakfast was a delight!

The hotel was right next door to the Schnitzer Hall where I was going for work. It had the ambiance that I LOVE with a real burning fireplace and library with plenty of lounge and seating space. It also was very quiet so you could read, do work, etc even though there is a restaurant right next to it. The room was clean with modern amenities and quiet.

Although the staff was generally good but they promise decaf coffee available upon request. I requested but did not receive.

Kelsey who was at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She was so hospitable, so kind and really made our entire experience perfect!!! We will come back every single time we stay in Portland!

The mattress on the foldout couch was pretty awful - I could feel the coils under my body. Not a surprise, but perhaps they can offer a foam topper or something to use as a pad. We didn't ask about that possibility, to be fair.

The location is terrific, right in the center of town. We parked in the recommended garage just around the corner for a decent price. Loved the Library Bar and their happy hour! Our suite was roomy and had two bathrooms, which was very nice. They also generously let us have a late checkout, so we could explore the town, have lunch and be back by 1 PM.

Housekeeping could use some attention. Dirty glasses left in the room, no replacements, except that the bed was made we weren’t sure anyone had come in.

Not dislikes, suggestions. - the bathroom needs a small bench - a hook or two perhaps in the bedroom to hang a long dress so it isn’t pooling on the floor. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed in that has been designed to be so incredibly inclusive yet took nothing away from the design of the hotel/room.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! My friend had the quiche and I had the smoked salmon/veggie bowl. The orange juice was so good my friend had two glasses.

They charge for everything. The “amenities” charge covers what other fine hotels I’ve stayed in offer for free.

The location is great. The valets are terrific.
