Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe only thing that bothered me was the service at the restaurants and bar wasn’t good, it was lacking quality service, being a former service industry employee and manager I gave them the benefit of the doubt (maybe if was an off day but it seemed to be consistent throughout the facility) so I was a little disappointed in that but there are plenty of wonderful restaurants and bars within in walking distance so I recommend just eating outside of the hotel.
Property was beautiful, clean and new feeling. I loved the hotel bathroom, it was spacious, clean, and modern, plenty of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, that was of a good quality. The room had nice views of the city. The interior design was of the WWII era and very well done, it seemed to have a purfume smell in the common areas/lobby which was a pleasant touch. You’re also right on the property of the museum so the area is really nice to walk around.

United States of AmericaI didn't like there was any free breakfast or free amenities offered. One day me and my son ate in the restaurant for breakfast and it was over $60. Needless to say we had to find breakfast offsite every day. We paid over $1000 for each room for 4 nights which is expensive but they were only hotel available when we booked 2 months ahead of our trip. There aren't many restaurants or bars within walking distance so we spent a lot on Ubers since it rained during our trip. The rooftop bar is nice but no happy hours.
The room was very clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and the rooftop bar was decent. We had 3 rooms for our family so they accommodated us very close to each other in the same hall. a night we felt very safe too!

United States of AmericaTrying to get out of the parking lot was STRESSFUL. My card didn't work because the hotel forgot to charge us for parking and I clearly asked the front desk about the card working on departure.

United States of AmericaRoom service was good the first day, but we did not get room service the second day. We left the room at 9:00am and returned at 4:30pm. At 4:30pm room service was taking place on our floor; we put ot the 'do not disturb' sign to talk a nap. When we left for dinner at 5:45 I forgot to remove the 'do not disturb sign' so give you some benefit of the doubt.
We only used the Provisions Market coffee bar. The pastries were excellent. The room was nice; the bath and shower were very nice.

United States of AmericaThe room was small, I didn’t expect that. Some of the plug ins were loose so my charger kept falling out of the wall. The room also didn’t have much lighting.
I loved mostly everything about the hotel, it was beautiful and the location was perfect. The staff was top of the line, anything we needed they made sure we were good. They have a nice bar and dining area as well as a roof top bar.

United States of AmericaParking is $50 a day, with what you pay for rooms, I expected parking to be included. The bars close at 10, I would have liked to see them open later.
The ambiance and decor was awesome. Everything in the hotel is WWII themed. Even down to the music. The common areas, restaurants and rooms were all so clean and the beds were very comfortable. I ate all three dining options they have here. The food and drinks are incredible at all of them. Rosies on the roof is so cool! The Provisions cafe is like a mini coffee shop with pastries and small eats, all delicious. Café Normandie's breakfast is exceptional. The WWII museum and Higgins hotel together is like a small campus. You are right across the street from the museum, which is a remarkable experience in itself. I will always enjoy the constant state of patriotism I was in between both, highly recommend!

United States of AmericaThe bartender was a little rough the 1st night we were there, but the other nights the bartenders were way nicer, maybe he was just having a bad day.
The hotel is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! The location was perfect for us to walk to the convention center or easily order a Lyft. All of the staff were exceptionally nice, especially Chip, the bellman.
