Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaRoom was a little cramped and the toilet sat right next to the wall. Was pricey for what was offered.
Location was awesome!

United States of AmericaIt’s very old and dated and has lots of stairs… not a great place for those with mobility issues. If you like modern and minimalist, this is not the place for you.
The property is fun and funky, very old school like going to visit your grandma. Lots of antiquities around and full of history. It was close to restaurants and shops. We were comfortable and cozy and slept well.

CanadaNot a place to stay if you don’t do stairs. Tight quarters in the room. It’s an old building with an old-timey theme, so if you like crisp & modern this is not the place to stay. Price seemed a bit high, but as it is Bisbee, I think it was in line with their competition for what you get.
Away from the noise, but close enough to walk. Great bed - memory foam ?! Unique antique decor. Staff was helpful and friendly.

United States of AmericaThere was nothing I didn't like. It's supposed to be like the old West.
It was quaint and rustic. We loved exploring the back. So fun!. People said it was haunted. We didn't see or feel anything which is fine by us! The lady at the front desk was kind and informative. We didn't eat the breakfast. We went out exploring the town. We had a great time!

United States of AmericaThin walls & noisy pipes that go with any 100+ year old property.
It’s historic and beautiful. The location is great. If you have time to explore, the grounds are incredible. Trails and sitting areas are really neat.

United States of AmericaParking was challenging . But not just for this property , all over Bisbee . At first I thought we are never going to get a parking spot, but the helpful lady checking us in pointed out a spot.
It was quirky and very Bisbee. It was fun to explore a big old house and surrounding property. it was very close to the things we wanted to see so we didn’t have to drive. Everything pretty much was within walking distance. The kids really liked the bunk beds . The rooms are decorated in different themes. I didn’t realize there were a few common areas til later in the trip. I also wish I knew they were running a two days for 1 deal.

United States of AmericaThe shower was very small, which can be expected in such a historic building, but there really wasn't anywhere to put soaps and razors. There was a ledge, but things just rolled right off.
The location is right off the main drag, and the up-front parking was convenient. Our room was clean and a nice size. It was a welcome respite to sit on the balcony and people-watch in between stair climbs and walks around the beautiful town.

United States of AmericaI like the historic nature of the site but I do imagine some guests would not be used to staying in such a quirky, historic building - but they should step outside the box and stay in this place and experience it!
The history is amazing and the owners were so lovely and welcoming.
