Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaGuest rooms are clean but nothing spectacular. I requested for a room with bathtub and a view of the woods. They graciously gave me just that. I enjoyed having breakfast (bagel, homemade peanut butter, fruit and coffee) sitting outside on one of the patios with beautiful campus view before me. Clock tower chimes every 15 mins during the day. That's a treat on top of "whooo whooo" from passing train down below us. I bought two jars of peanut butter made by the school. Very good.
Peaceful, safe for solo female travelers; great hiking trails up and down behind the property; fresh fruit, snacks, hot beverages all day, and friendly staff.

United States of AmericaNothing. Everything was great!!
I liked everything! Very friendly staff, beautiful campus with walking trails and convenient location if you are traveling in southern MN. There was a lot of history tied to the inn which the front desk staff was able to tell us about. The inn was very clean with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is very simple, but there was everything from juice to milk and also coffee and rolls, bagels, and yoghurt. I absolutely would recommend the inn to anyone traveling to the Faribault area.

United States of AmericaCoffee and juice were free and delicious. We did not have the other 'continental' type eats. Fridge with ice in the hall, we kept our take out snacks and drinks close by. thanks!

United States of AmericaThe loud air conditioner.
We're on a restricted diet and would not be able to eat much that was offered. The fresh fruit was welcome. We didn't expect that under the circumstances that the facility could be able to meet our needs.

United States of AmericaWe stayed in a room with 2 Queen size beds to go to a concert in the auditorium at the college. It was great to be able to park and then walk over to the concert. The auditorium was awesome, Dessa put on a great show and we were able to walk back to the hotel. It snowed so it was extra great we didn't have to drive.

United States of AmericaDon't really have any criticisms.
The staff was pleasant, the grounds were dog friendly and we were able to bring our 2 chihuahuas who loved the pets and lovings from the staff. The facilities were clean and there was a snack area (granola bars, coffee, tea) available all day. There is a complimentary breakfast with the stay which was simple but filling-bagels, juice, cereal, fruit were the options. The value of the room was awesome. It was our 4 year anniversary and the staff was kind enough to print out a little sign and gift us a bottle of wine! Overall great stay, wonderful staff, lots of places to take walks on and a great price. Couldn't be happier that we found this little gem.

United States of Americaonly dislike was it was listed as suite with spa tub. maybe my own misunderstanding but most rooms that list that have a larger jacuzzi tub. this was a standard whirlpool tub. slight disappointment when that is typically my main choosing point. but it Definetly was a suite. but for the price you can get more at a “cheaper” location.
it’s beautiful in every way. history is impressive. staff was amazing.
