The look and feel of the place.... It a quite little neighborhood and was so easy to get around to locations and stores. Price was really great plenty to eat a do around Berry Hill :)

There were a LOT of emails related to check-in and the stay. I get a lot of spam and don't check my email often, so it's a happy accident that I saw the emails with check-in instructions. It might have been in the booking info on Orbitz, but if it was, I missed it, so if you could more prominently include explicit instructions that you need to check your email for information about your stay that would help. The booking info gave me enough information to show up at the hotel, so if I hadn't thought to check my email, I would have just shown up and saw no front desk and have no idea how to get in, so it could have been a very frustrating experience. I also received several emails about check-out that I didn't see until after I arrived home, like the check-out keypad code or air conditioner instructions. Some older people don't travel with access to email, so I can see this being a huge point of frustration for them. I would suggest one long, bullet pointed email, maybe with large headings, at the beginning of the transaction. Here is your room number. Here is the key code. Here's how to reach us. Checkout instructions. It seemed like an awful lot of emails for something that could have been one or two.

The room was clean and quiet. We parked right outside our room door. It was advertised as a no-frills hotel, and it was exactly that. A great, affordable, safe home base as we spent the day exploring the city. I've never been in a hotel without a front desk before and was a little skeptical at first, but now I would stay at an Iris in every city I travel to if it were an option in the parts of town I wanted to stay in. I don't like paying hundreds of dollars for rooms on vacation when all I typically do is use them as a place to sleep, shower and stash my belongings, so this was perfect. It was about half the price of the hotels I typically stay in.

It’s very bare bones since it’s a motel not a hotel but it’s still worth the stay.

This motel is an amazing deal if you are visiting Nashville. There are plenty of food spots within walking distance which makes it even better. It’s also within 20 minutes of downtown when there’s no traffic!

Walls to outside are thin - I could hear my neighbors checking in and out, dragging their suitcases up and down the steps. Also, there were only 2 small pillows on the bed, and they appeared to be decorative pillows rather than true bed pillows. The bathroom was small, but I was alone so it was fine.

The room was clean and well-lit, and the office communicated well when there was a change. Easy to check in and check out. I needed a barebones room to sleep in overnight, and this room was nicely decorated, clean, and met all of my needs.

Not enough pillows. Was more like an air BNB than a hotel/motel Never saw workers. Did see dogs and beer at a no pet no alcohol facility. Very glad I did not need anything.

I think installing a door latch above the automatic door locking system would make single travelers feel more secure in the room.

The motel was updated nicely. The room was cute and had all the basic needs. It was in a great location. I would recommend this property.

The only problem we had was with the shower handle. We figured it out eventually but maybe should be tightened or replaced

It was in a convenient location and close to where we needed to be for work. Lots of close restaurants! Very cute renovation, clean, loads of towels, nice and comfy!
