Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The hotel was in a great location. Staff were friendly. The pool area was nice. The pool towels need to be replaced. The hotel rooms, hallways, elevator and exterior needs to be updated. Parking was available at a decent price. The food was okay. Didn’t enjoy the hidden fees.

United States of AmericaThis is just my observation and possible suggestions..... Lack of railings for those with mobility issues on pool deck, lack of chairs for those with possible bariatric issues, particularly at beach bar and pool area. Not everyone can use chaise chairs that low to ground. Different bar prices at beach bar and pool bar, no signage to explain. [Same drink all week, frozen colada mix, should be same] Breakfast buffet was cold i.e. sausage, pancakes need additional fruit. Bananas? Grapes? Limited entrees for dinner i.e. pasta [.may have missed it listed].. last, seems a bit of overkill to pay $16 per night for parking when the lot is a piece of the property, more important the lot is not secured and using a handicapped placard isn't of importance. While it is indeed a large place the weekend brought many parkers to access the beach and park for free, in handicapped spaces. Seemed.totally inconvenient to check out at 3am, i specifically asked at desk to do it the night before.
Staff was cordial and helpful [although some.persons did not speak or understand english] The location was super. Very clean and housekeeping very punctual. Atmosphere was good and other guests were friendly. Room was not that comfortable but will make better accommodations next time.

United States of AmericaMore parking that isn’t in the parking garage might be helpful. The housekeeping staff never refilled the body wash/shampoo containers that were hanging on the inside of the shower. Some more hangers in the rooms, as having wet towels or bathing suits and no closet space for other clothes.
The pools and paths were great; we enjoyed the grotto bar (even braving that freezing water to get into it) Our housekeeping staff were always friendly and courteous. The kitchen manager was kind and professional, I interacted with him a couple brief times in the restaurant. The public restrooms on the premises were well kept and clean, and we liked the pier going down to the beach. Kitchen staff and servers were attentive and good at keeping the breakfast buffet full.

United States of AmericaBeautiful location! The first room we stayed in that faced the pool with the volcano was beautiful. We decided to extend our stay so we had to move to another room. Though the second room had much more room & extra beds, we could not get the temperature regulated to control the dampness in the room. The hotel grounds are well maintained & very appealing to the eye. The tacos at the outside grill were fantastic & the best we had while staying in the area. The food at the restaurant/bar was also very good & the entertainment was very enjoyable.

United States of AmericaThe big pool was COLD and a little dirty. I wish it was heated like the second pool at the resort. There was a swim to bar in the cold pool and would have been nice to use it. At the beach there were nice blue lounge chairs but you had to pay to sit in the lounge chairs, even if you were a guest at the hotel.
Excellent location!

United States of AmericaOne day there was a island staff member that yelled at me and my kids because my kids were moving some patio furniture around back in the area where the bean bag toss games are. That was upsetting because he actually yelled at me and the kids from a balcony on the 4th floor so it was really loud and came off pretty rude and was somewhat embarrassing. My kids were moving patio furniture in a circle and moving it out of its designated spots well we waited for my wife who was changing. My kids are 3 and 4 and have allot of energy and were excited to be there and all of a sudden a guy yelled from a 4th floor balcony, "sir, don't let your kids move the furniture around!" And the way he yelled there was a hint of rudeness and anger in his voice which kind of upset me. I felt it was a little out of place, the kids were being kids and having fun, not many people were around using the furniture, and if it was really a big deal I felt it would have been more appropriate to come down and talk to us rather than yell at us.
Mickey the pirate was a lot of fun. My kids really enjoyed his show! The movie in the pool was a fun activity and we enjoyed the s'mores!
