Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom was a porta potty which they have listed as "your own private bathroom with a sink, toilet and hot shower. ". The porta potty was clean but was unexpected. They had coffee and other types of packets for you to use but when we looked at the date they were expired. Another thing that kind of sucked as was there was no mirror anywhere that we could find. So putting in your contacts or doing your makeup had to be done either in our car mirror or on our phones which was kind of inconvenient.
Very cool experience. You can tell the hosts really love it. Bed was comfortable. Outdoor area was nice , awesome spot for star gazing (which we did in the hammock). Location is close to Joshua tree and the hosts gave you some recommendations for some local restaurants which was really nice! The outdoor shower was a cool experience. It was nice that they had filtered water for you to use inside the tent to drink. The inside of the tent was nice and as described. Everything seemed clean, but not sure if I would call it luxury.

United States of AmericaIt was definately off the beaten path. But it was still drivable. If you keep in mind that you are camping, and you want to get away from a built up town, then you understand that you need to drive on some dirt to get there.
I loved the dome. It was roomy enough to walk around inside and had very comfortable romantic furniture (bed/chair/fireplace/air conditioning) to make our glamping adventure perfect.

Almost everything. Outdoor facilities were great, loved the shower. Good cooking facilities. Pretty good WiFi. Although the view is the thing. I feel like it would be unbearably hot in the summer though

United States of AmericaThe only thing that I didn't like were the outside porta potties. Each dome has their own and they are clean. Having to go in the middle of the night and being dark with no outside lighting was the only issue for me and my group.
It was our first time staying in a dome. The experience was amazing for us. It was well equipped with items needed for a stay in the middle of no where. Electric Blanket, Coffee, mini fridge and heater. Outside grill and fire pit.

CanadaI suggest to have at least light installed on both toilet and shower room. It maybe a terrible idea to stay in this location if the weather is super windy/sandstorm. I also suggest to host to at least provide any protection such as googles and have a list on what to do if in case the weather changes.
The host gave us a warm welcome and provided a tour and history of Twentynine Palms. The room is very clean and comfy. Location is 20 mins drive from Joshua Tree NP. Nice place to relax and do star gazing.

United States of AmericaWhat a beautiful, unique and comfortable experience! Glamping at its finest. We were warmly welcomed and shown the facilities. The bed was very comfortable. All of the amenities like a fresh water tank, heated blanket, grill and fire pit were all great to have close by. We were expecting the outdoor facilities so that was not a surprise. The port-a-potty was very clean and had no odor. There is a sink with running water and the outdoor shower was pretty awesome! It was a little cold to use during the winter months but I can see how enjoyable that would be in the summer. We came for some star gazing and enjoyed the serenity of the land.

United States of Americatook a minute to figure out the hot water dispenser, coffee setup less than ideal, otherwise we got there so late didn’t get to use the grill or picnic table. but didn’t matter.
-easy instructions to find Kosmic tortoise in the middle of the night! -entry worked perfectly. -loved the quiet and clarity of the air. -the fire pit was gas so particulate pollution at a minimum, -chairs around it were perfect for stargazing. -plenty of hot water in the shower. loved the open air aspect. -the bed and pillows were soooooooo comfortable. -the heating worked very well.

United States of AmericaThis is not the hosts' fault because they are waiting on permits, but there was only a porta potty instead of the incineration toilet we were expecting. It was very clean and not smelly. We just reminded ourselves that we were in the desert and it was sort of like camping. I'd say this place is for people who like to camp and enjoy the outdoors and want a chance to see the night sky.
We liked the solitude of this location and the glamping-type glimpse into desert life. Sights we loved: Seeing the Milky Way and the sunrise from the dome windows. Watching the annular eclipse with the eclipse glasses the hosts gave us. Sounds we loved: The extreme quiet. There was another couple in the dome next to us and we never heard them. It was also fun hearing about the history of the area and an explanation of Wonder Valley. Other things we loved: Getting bathed in sound vibrations when standing in front of the giant gong. (Don't worry, we only heard it once as the host demonstrated the experience.) Sitting by the fire when it got chilly. We also liked the very comfortable bed and even the hard-set thermostat. I worried about this, but it cooled the dome when needed and warmed it later at night. We were always comfortable, but it was mid-Oct and we were mostly outside. It was freeing not to worry about messing with it. I appreciated how the hosts were very communicative and helpful. BTW, I was worried about bugs since the host said to ignore them, but the only thing we saw was a few flies, very few ants outside, and a roaming desert beetle out by the car.

This place was phenomenal, we had such a great experience here! The pod was spacious inside and had A/C, the amenities were fantastic - anything we could have wanted and more was there for us. There is a gas grill for cooking, and all cooking utensils you might need. We had a fantastic tour of the of the property by the owner on arrival and got given some history of the area too, which was fascinating!
