Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe toilet was installed a little crooked and close to the shower. It was easy to bang your knee or elbow on the shower door.
Bed and room were very comfortable, and most importantly, very quiet. I also really appreciated the mini fridge and coffee machine.

Room was clean, comfortable but pretty small.

IrelandThe optional housekeeping that only came in the morning, we were staying a week and never got it because we would have a lie on every morning, so alot of rubbish in our room built up, breakfast could do with some fruit maybe some meat for the breads, our room had no wardrobe so had to work out of my suitcase which was very annoying for a week
The location was great, bed was big, we had a fridge in our room, tv had food channels, breakfast was good for being included in the price

PolandBreakfasts were very limited. No vegetables, only cereals, one sort of jam, waffles (these were good ones) semi-cheese (semi because it was more E-additives than natural milk/protein). Anyway to be fair better sth than nothing to start a day. NYC offers a lot of street food so you won't be hungry.
Good balance between cost and quality. Quite close to the metro station which allows easy and quick commuting to Manhattan and other parts of NYC. Comparable quiet area taking into account noicy NYC in general.

United States of AmericaThere were tiny bugs in the shower that were attracted to the moisture. They weren't in the room, though, so it wasn't overly concerning. Our neighbors with kids were noisy, but that's not on the hotel.
The free parking was a bonus, although the lot was quite full. Thankfully, we got there early enough in the afternoon to snag a spot. The concierge was friendly and efficient. There were no issues with our booking. The room was small but had great lighting and everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was clean and updated. Nice-sized shower.

France35 min away from manhattan. It's long after an exhausting day. The simple breakfast can be annoying after 5-6 days :)
Quite close from the subway. The breakfast is very simple but enough. This is what we paid for.

United KingdomThe only major thing I didn't like were the doors to the hotel rooms. Doesn't feel like they were made for the doorway as you can hear everything outside as if the door wasn't there. This is for all rooms so if someone down the corridor is loud, everyone can hear it clearly. Fortunately every worker and guest in the hotel was decent so we didn't have too many disturbances.
The hotel in general is clean, and regularly kept clean. The breakfast included is well stocked with great options, the vending machines for outside breakfast hours are idea for snacks and stocking up on water for the day. The hotel was even more helpful with allowing a few deliveries to be delivered to the hotel for me.

BelgiumThe included breakfast was disappointing: nothing to put on the bread or weird soft store-bought bagels, weak coffee, no fruit, … The temperature in the room was hard to manage. Housekeeping forgot to replace some stuff every now and then.
Comfortably located near an express subway station, this very decent hotel is a great budget friendly option!

Czech RepublicIt felt like there was draft coming from around the window, maybe it was poorly isolated, or maybe someone didn't close it properly.
The location is quite conveniet, within a walking from a few grocery stores and restaurants. The nearby MTA 36th St. station offers excellent connection. The breakfast selection was typical motel, but decent.
