Location was perfect. Right on the lake and I could walk to everything. It was just what I needed for the night. Room was clean, comfy bed, friendly and accommodating staff all at a great price.

Only one thing to mention. On the barbecue amenities, we brought our food to cook and all was excellent but one thing we would have liked is a place with a water faucet to clean our utensils and hands.

We liked everything. The views, the friendliness and professionalism of everyone. Always ready to accommodate any needs we had. We certainly will recommend this place to our friends and family in Chile.

I feel that ALL motels/hotels should not have carpets. Unfortunately, most motels/hotels in Lake George have them.

We spent the weekend at The Lake Motel, and it was an amazing experience. The place was very clean, and our room was right by the lake. The view was stunning and the fireplaces were always lit, creating a cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and always had a smile on their faces. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The mattresses were squeaky and not very comfortable. In our room the WiFi was a little unsteady. But I wouldn't change my choice to stay here :)

the pool wasn't technically a heated pool - as advertised. We went in September (cooler weather) and had hoped it was an actual heated pool - but it wasn't -- it had a solar cover but not "heated"

Everything was great -- I was not aware originally (a fellow guest told me) to ask for construction cones from the front desk - they will give you one and that reserves a parking spot for you.

Since we had the very first room by the office, the noise from the road was constant. The parking outside our room was parallel parking which I am not a fan of doing.

The location of the motel was perfect. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do except the drive up Prospect Mountain which was just a short distance away. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and the motel's waterfront was really nice. There was a heated pool, several areas to sit with fire pits, grills, and even free kayaks and paddle boards. I especially loved the two Adirondack chairs at the end of the dock. I loved the wood siding in the room and found the bed comfortable. The bathroom was small, but clean.

Most of their parking is for standard car size vehicles. We drive a F150 truck and had a hard time fitting in the spaces along the fence. Tight area to turn around.
