Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe paid premium price for our room which I thought was on the beach( online pics very deceiving). The room was cluttered with things to buy and even though it was off season and there was ample room in the parking lot, we had to pay $30/night to park. Very poor lighting over the sink in the bathroom. .
The view of the lake, a friendly staff, coffee available in the lobby early every morning and the shuttle to shops and restaurants.

The room details were good. Robe, comfortable, great bathroom. The room looked like it was on the lake in pictures and it’s expensive but there is a public street in front and a gated beach. There was loud construction that kind of ruined our stay and made sitting on the balcony unpleasant.

United States of AmericaThe terrible Booking.com experience that was time, energy, loyalty draining from my booking thru into interrupting in my special family visit while onsite where The Landing team stepped up and again providing all the guidance and support we needed to resolve the significant, pricing, service and Booking’s lacking issue resolution process. Only constructive feedback for the property is around lower than expected house keeping experience from lacking of thoroughness and inconsistency of cleaning, cleaning too early in am and making a lot of noise even in vacated rooms when some guests may be there to rest. Additionally, the general noise level in building 2 was pretty high given the team let me know it’s an older building that doesn’t have as recent/good of construction and so noise level on ceiling and even side walls is greater than desired and again too early in the am. Lastly, although the overall property, facilities, rooms, bathrooms, etc are great, the property definitely could use an overall update of the details to bring the overall details more in sync with the predominance of this property/experience. Again, this property, team, service and overall experience is excellent - exceeding expectations, they can dial in these fiber details and even ongoing upkeep of the details would make a great experience enter the “top-notch” for this pricing, type, and category of properties.
Everything about the property, beach front, quiet location, views, *free shuttle* (especially important for person with disabilities, let alone for ease of access to nearby locations in Heavenly Village town area and overall safety navigating around town), and most importantly the staff was excellent individually abd even better as a collective team. Special thanks to Charles, Jason, Dylan and team for doing a great job exceeding our expectations in being extra supportive, helpful and accommodating in every way to make our stay and now imminent return such a special and memorable celebration.

United States of AmericaOn site restaurant is very expensive and resort fee is excessive for the amenities. We came from another high end restaurant the day before (Kalani’s) and a bit shocked to see drinks are even more here ($20 for a cocktail). Food was good but overpriced. I would also say this is a 4 star hotel overall. I would stay here again but likely avoid the restaurant.
Clean and spacious rooms, great staff members and location. The jetted bathtub after a ski day is wonderful!

United States of AmericaJimmy's restaurant was a huge disappointment. The atmosphere and ambiance is beautiful, however the food needs a rehaul. It was an embarrassment. No flavor, no thoughtfulness. We ended up sending our food back, which was so disappointing as we were trying to enjoy a special night. They are charging a lot for their meals. If they were delicious and flavorful it would have been worth it, however it was not delicious or flavorful and they should really take a look at that. If I ever stay at the landing again I will definitely go into town to eat and we'll skip Jimmy's all together.
The manager was very nice, patient and accommodating. Very personable and thoughtful.

United States of AmericaI wish rooms were less pricey. Also, parking fee was not included.
Staff was accommodating. Our room was upstairs, cozy with a basic fireplace, and had a balcony with partial peek to the lake. Room size was not big but ok. I couldn’t figure out how to make the heated floor in the bathroom work but overall liked the clean bathroom. Bathrobes & slippers were available.

United States of AmericaOur second day Seraphina in the office was rude. Our room was so small. Our room didn’t feel clean. Our room was right next to the maid area so we were woken up by banging each morning. 2 martinis cost $50 here. Insane.
The location was great, the shuttle service was great, and the staff day 1.

United States of AmericaParking was additional fee unless you park for free on the side of the road. Fireplace was faulty and didn't work, would have been nice to use. Spa service pricing was astronomical.
Room service was timely and delicious. Bathroom had steam room within shower plus heated toilet seat and towel warmer. Mountain and lake view from king suite balcony was beautiful. Front desk brought us a fan at our request.

United KingdomWe chose the hotel for the location but the view from the room was just over a terrace, with the lake hardly visible. Restaurant food was poor. My cod was served partially raw first time. Then it came back over-seasoned and chewy. They didn’t charge for it.
Great lakeside location. Friendly staff. Easy parking.

United States of AmericaI wish they had a loyalty program for guests. Please come up with one :)
I love the location of this place. We’ve stayed here a few times and I always book the lake view. Rooms are clean. Restaurant is good. I would give the restaurant a 4- out of 5. They greet you with a glass of champagne at the front desk of the hotel which is lovely. I wouldn’t call it a 5 star hotel but definitely a decent 4. I wish the prices weren’t as high. But, everything is more expensive now. We will come back here. I’m grateful for a wonderful experience. Love Lake Tahoe!

MoldovaStaff at the reception seemed a bit snobbish to me, gave us furthest room, could have shared more details about offers hotel has. Valet parking could have been easily made a regular self parking. And yes, I'd love it to be a bit less expensive
Spacious and very cozy room - large balcony, beautiful interior design, comfortable chairs, nice bathroom with heated floor. Located right next to the beach. Very good restaurant. Free bicycles. Overall very cool.
