Wonderful experience! Warm friendly staff, awesome antiques! Like stepping back in time, it was very enjoyable. Not kid friendly but great for a single or couple!! Will definitely stay there again!

Nothing did I dislike.

This is a place that everyone should stay at least once. The rooms are small but the ambiance and all of the antiques take you in. Imagine having breakfast which is included, at a dining table with real silverwear and served to you!! And the Train Museum and park is across the street!!

The character of the old historic building made for a romantic stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and inviting. The free breakfast was a proper meal and not just some muffins next to a coffee pot.

When we return to this hotel, we will request a room with a walk in shower, the old claw tub was not a good idea for someone our age.

The only thing I can think of is, we would have loved to have an ice bucket! Lol, there is an ice machine on second floor so it really wasn’t a big deal. Literally, this is the only thing I would’ve changed - you can’t go wrong staying here!

We have stayed here before and each time it just gets better! We Love the park across the street, it’s quiet and safe to stroll in day or night! There are so many places within walking distance, which is so nice! The Hotel now has a restaurant and Lounge!! We Loved this!! Food was amazing! We had the ribeye, it was delicious! We enjoyed the music in the Lounge, lots of dancing! Loved the breakfast, it was very good! The rooms themselves are beautiful, filled with antique furniture and still so comfortable! We both had such a restful nights sleep! This is a relaxing and beautiful hotel! The staff is super friendly and helpful. We will be back!

I couldn’t get hot water for a tub soak … it was tepid for the entire draw of water. Temp in the room was cool and not easily controlled. Also, it would have been nice to have a comfy sitting chair in the room. I really do not mean to be complaining overall it was a nice experience . I enjoy historical Victorian places!
