Shower had two temps…. Ice cold and scalding hot. No view at all (window faced a brick wall and a garage) and the door to the room stuck… The absence of parking and expensive, yet slow valet service.

The staff wasn’t friendly at all. The person at the reception did not greet us when we checked in. She spent her time checking her phone every time we came in and out, or chatting with her colleagues, obviously ignoring us. Not what you would expect from such an expensive hotel

The touch screen telephone they had to contact the front desk didn’t work. Rust in the bathroom and shower. The toilet was a little slow to flush. The soap, shampoo and conditioner were very small bottles like the hotels use to have. The linen for the fold out bed was stained. Valet took a very long time to get our car. They looked overwhelmed and understaffed. Valet was the only choice given for parking.

They had a record player in the room. That was a nice touch as it was all jazz records. Nice touch to highlight the New Orleans music scene. The bathrooms were clean. The water was extremely hot for showers. Love the shutter window shades in the bathroom. In walking distance to restaurants. I felt safe alone with my two kids. Front desk staff were nice and responsive to any questions I had.

There were light switches that didn't control anything. You had to manually turn on almost every light fixture. The living room t.v. only let you watch one channel. It wouldn't connect to the internet and the virtual assistant (Angie) that was supposed to double as a phone didn't work either. Luckily the t.v. in the bedroom worked so my daughter had something to watch.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the functional record player was a nice touch. We were actually listening to the jazz album while having cocktails. Having a suite with separate bedroom and living room area for the price of a smaller room in the "Big Chain" hotels was great.

The location is great and is nice and quiet and away from all of the crowds and noice. Front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating.

View was of a brick wall. pics in ads show great view, having a breakfast available was a great bonus, however it was the exact same breakfast everyday. eggs watery, there was hot water there, which did not taste like coffee (bonus), but it wasn't hot.

Staff is not super attentive or friendly. There’s no place to park so you end up paying for vallet.

Very big room, like a small apartment. Simple but decent breakfast, good coffee to start the day. Got special rate so the value was very good.

The parking is off site and expensive ($50/night) but I have a feeling that's just New Orleans. If not accustom to driving in the area be prepared for one way streets and impatient drivers.

It was a very cool building- exposed brick, historic. It was close to everything we wanted to walk to. The bed/ding was nice and the record player with vinyls was a fun touch!

I didn't have a view at all. The lobby was small and tight and the hotel didn't really have good food options.

The free breakfast was nice. Also, the gym was small but useful. I felt safe and cozy in my room. The location was great for me because I had a conference at the convention center but also wanted to explore the city so I was just blocks from attractions.

Only complain a few evenings the temperature out was in the low 50s and heating system is poor .

The sofa had set in stains, looks like steam clean could not get out. The toilet needed a flush valve replacement, we could not figure out the "alexa" type device, shower curtain torn, tub drained slowly. That being said, nothing we couldn't live with, we told desk and offered to fix, but we said it could wait. Met manager, apparently she is about to do a major renovation. Bottom line is..would MOST DEFINATELY stay there again, absolutely. I look forward to our next visit yo NOLA, and the Mercantile Hotel.

Lovely hotel, nice area, close enough to everything but far enough that you don't get all the noise. Comfortable beds, room was lovely. The breakfast was good, and the bar excellent, needs to be open longer hours! Every staff member went out of his/her way to be helpful, all friendly and respectful. The manager should be proud of the people she employs!

Had problem with the tub and sink.. water was going down the drains slow.. Sowered and the water was filling up in the tub.same with the sink will brushing my teeth.

Could have used cleaning the mold underneath the bathroom soap dish. The elevator needed a good cleaning. Ice machine not working on floor 8 or 9.
