Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThey no longer have a work out area although it’s still advertised as having one . The front desk was not very friendly but nothing too notable
This hotel was fantastic! The decor and atmosphere are unique. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms are large by any standard, especially for New Orleans (where we found the rooms typically very tight ) Breakfast was also excellent. It’s a little out of the way from the craziness of the Bourbon Street hoopla.

United States of AmericaThe staff who was there was helpful, but they seem understaffed. Carpet in room was dirty (needs a deep clean); shower curtain lining was missing. They ran out of toiletries in the middle of my stay. They don’t clean every day which would be fine if the room were very clean to begin with and if they maintained enough supplies.
Location, helpful staff. Liked the separate seating area and large desk. Quiet room.

United States of AmericaOur check out time was for 11 and 8 in the morning we get a knock and kept knocking on the door saying it's time to check out. Jumped up thinking it's close to 11 and we overslept only to find out the time. We were really upset bc we stayed there to go to the concert and came in around 2 to jump up for 8

United States of AmericaOur WC was broken when we arrived but was quickly fixed by the maintenance.
I really liked the location of the hotel, walking distance to the Downtown / French Quarter and it was very quiet. Nice old building with a spirit and a lot of parking options around. Breakfast was very basic but was free of charge in the room rate. Nice and pleasant service.

United States of AmericaThe property was quite outdated. Only one working elevator, some ceiling tiles were missing along the hallway of my floor, air condition was musty and inadequate. The shower had terrible water pressure and took minutes to drain. The bedroom and bathroom were pleasantly basic but definitely could use updates and a good deep clean.
Good location with great restaurant and parking options around the block. Staff was always pleasant and available.

United States of AmericaEntry door was in rough shape had to kick it open and slam it shut, needs fixing. Bed comfort was meh.
Loved the location. Far enough from the quarter to not hear all the craziness but a short cheap ride share away. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Room size was great. Soundproofing was good too, didn’t have to hear people all night while trying to sleep.

KazakhstanBreakfast could be better. Everyday same things. However it was good enough. Bagel, crossant, butter/jam, yogurt, apple and orange juice, coffee, potato, scambled eggs, bacon and meat. One of the elevators was not working. You have to tell to clean the room, which I think was okay.
Room was large and had a separate living room with TV. So there were two TVs. There was an eating tray. Small area with microwave and sink, like a kitchen. Location was very close to convention center. Capsule coffee machine in the room.

United States of AmericaFrom Monday to Wednesday, the breakfast consisted of grits, potatoes, bacon, and baked goods; from Thursday to Saturday, it was eggs, potatoes, sausage, and bacon with baked goods. From Monday to Wednesday, I ate only baked goods. I enjoyed the fare the other days. My room was only serviced twice during the entire 6-night stay, which was very troubling since I understood they would service the room every other day. I did not expect that the service would be every three days. Only one elevator was operational, and the front desk folks were not that helpful or courteous. When I inquired as to the wi-fi not being operational the first two days, they really didn't seem to care.
The location was good for my meetings, and the size of the room was nice. I liked the suite-like orientation the room had, there are nice restaurants in close proximity.
