Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere is no microwave available in the room. It would be great to have a microwave for us to be accessible to.
A variety of restaurants to choose from and entertainment which are held daily/weekly, which is awesome!

United States of AmericaI do not know if I am supposed to know when my room has no view. I mean no view whatsoever and despite requesting a "higher" floor to hopefully avoid situations like that, I was given the third floor. I am not sure if the hotel did this to me or Booking.com but even though I was warned I had no real view. The real statement should be you have NO view and that your patio felt like a basement. That is the only thing I would grade them down on. I would hope these were the last rooms they rented to someone. I was there EARLY and this is the type of room I get?
I like that the location was completely safe. Even though I was at a casino, they had public safety and security on site. I also liked the fact that it was right on the bay. Everybody was quite pleasant and the amenities would have been great had I used them.

United States of AmericaWe were shocked that smoking was still allowed. Not enough information about things to do in the local area surrounding the hotel/casino. Our room was clean & nice but the 4 pillows on the bed were too small for a king bed. Also there was No in room coffee pot or in room microwave if we wanted food in our room. The loooooooong extremely low lighted hallways gave the “Shining” movie vib.
Easy to find location. The large fire pit inside and the ambience was in the diner, cafe, sports bar, & main entrance was inviting. Loved the strawberry/cucumber and lemon/lime waters in the lobby !!! We really loved the shower in our room! The view of the river, was nice

United States of AmericaI would have appreciated some safety grab bars in the shower. As a “senior citizen “ , I found the lack of that safety feature concerning, and hope that the Mill Casino Hotel might consider reviewing that area.
I found the service and check in and out process to be really friendly and professional. I appreciated having such a comfortable, well appointed, and quiet room to return to after appointments and business. The room was really clean ( thanks housekeeping!) and the bed was very comfortable. The bed linens were very high quality and there were plenty of pillows to prop up on for reading or TV watching. The Mill Casino was very well located for everything that my visit required. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan on re-booking the next time that I am in Coos Bay.

United States of AmericaThe beds are too high. Ended up with a very painful back. Would love to have had a coffee maker in our room. Didn't really care for the bathroom layout. Needs to have a door on the whole bathroom, not just the toilet and shower area.
Very clean and accommodating. All staff was excellent. Nice to have several restaurants to choose from.

United States of AmericaThis is our second stay, both times hotel staff and the security staff are great. The only people that seem “put out”, “too busy” were the restaurant staff. (Both times) I realize we are living on a time of limited staff . They may be feeling overwhelmed or overworked. It just stood out because everything else has great.
