We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaI think the property could do a better job on their website describing the set up. I was surprised to learn that there was no reception or concierge when I arrived on property and that everything was operated with a code for the doors. It didn’t bother me but I would have liked knowing more going into it. The website also says fully stocked kitchens in suite but my kitchen only had a microwave and sink. I wasn’t planning on doing any cooking in suite (but did use of the toaster in the shared kitchen) but I think their website should include specifics for those looking to cook.
The Neighborhood Grand Beach is a lovely hotel! I would describe it as more like an inn or bed-and-breakfast. There is no reception or concierge, which didn’t bother me but I know this could impact others decisions. The property clearly communicated with me about a week before my stay and send me the code that I would need to get into my room and the common spaces. My room was a studio on the first floor overlooking the pool. It was very cute and cozy. I was traveling without anyone else, I think it would be fine for a couple but tight for more than two people. The pool and outdoor fire pits were fantastic. I’d definitely recommend this hotel but only for someone who is comfortable with no amenities, daily turn over service and front desk.

United States of AmericaMost of the rooms that were booked for the weekend we stayed were occupied by the owners’s extended family. The children in those rooms were completely unsupervised. Small children under the age of 7 ran up and down the halls yelling and screaming. The owner acknowledged they were related to him and offered to make an adjustment to our bill. However, he later refused to make any monetary adjustment. I will never go back and will not recommend this hotel. It’s more like a bed and breakfast, but no breakfast, anyway.
