The location was perfect - close to the hiking side of JTNP, isolated for night sky viewing, yet still close enough to town for things we needed. Outside area was wonderful, and hosts were super responsive.

We loved everything about this property. It was so beautifully decorated, so clean and very comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. Waking up and having tea overlooking the desert and watching Jack rabbits Hop by, surrounded by bird song was the perfect start to each day. It's location is wonderful and the hosts are so lovely! We will definitely stay here if we come back to Joshua Tree. We loved it & will recommend it to all of our friends!

Absolutely stunning views and there was nothing a guest could need that wasn’t supplied. All toiletries, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent. Pots, pans, coffee. They didn’t nickel and dime you. They really had the place well appointed. The beds were so comfortable. They left extra blankets and pillows. This place is not to be overlooked! We will be back. Our entire family of 5 loved it!! Nothing - everything was perfect!

Beautiful house and property. Plenty of space and amenities. Very quiet and secluded area, wonderful to view the night sky (we were lucky our stay coincided with a meteor shower). Very close and convenient to Joshua Tree NP. Washer and dryer very helpful, the house was nicely decorated in desert motif, good wifi, nice hot tub, hosts Colin and Liz provided all necessary information regarding the house and check in/out procedures.

Having to leave!

Everything!! It was beautiful and clean and so comfortable! We normally don’t rent houses because we have had so many bad experiences with other properties but there weren’t many other places to stay near Joshua Tree so we decided to give this a try and we were just blown away by this property!! We absolutely loved everything about this place. The views, the coffee bar, the views, the comfortable beds, the views!! It was an awesome property and an amazing find! We loved it!

We had an Amazing Family vacation based from Amazing 'Outpost'. Thank you Colin and Liz ... you have a terrific base with so many little extras, from indoor night lights, dark sky lights, all kitchen needs you can think of, great space/design for 4 adults, and you were SO helpful in our messages back and forth, that were well organized and explained. And the extra treats were your amazing garden and location. So many unique cactus, some attracting birds, the well placed Hot Tub to enjoy the night sky, sunrise from the kitchen area, sitting with blankets for Sunset, and easy access JTNP. Thank you!!!

The, very detailed, instructions we received prior to arrival were not exactly matching the, again very detailed, instructions inside the house and then the, again very detailed, instructions we received upon departure, so we are still not sure we put our thrash in the right bin (we certainly hope so :-)).

The place itself is amazing. Very tastefully and elegantly decorated in a style matching its surroundings and the history of the place. Everything is well thought through and makes the stay very comfortable. The view when you wake up, simply unbeatable.

This property was very clean and well maintained. Most of the furnishings were new or seemed new, and the rooms were nicely decorated. It was very comfortable and we wanted to spend time there. The property is in a great location. We heard coyotes, saw roadrunners and jackrabbits, and watched the stars at night (and saw several shooting stars). Used the hot tub and played bag toss both nights.

The location was great, close to 2 entrances of JT National Park, grocery store, and other things to do in the area. The property was beautiful with nice patios to sit and watch the sunrise the morning, see various birds and wildlife, grill to cook on, a chiminea for a fire, and of course the hot tub for relaxing and star gazing.. The hosts have thought of every detail. The kitchen is well appointed, the beds are very comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better place for our visit. We would go back again!

Stylish property. Beautiful view overseeing the desert. Used the patio area every night to grill and watch the stars. Kitchen, bathrooms, living room had everything you could need. Close to Joshua Park entrance.

The location of this rental was private and very peaceful. The host made you feel right at home with very nice amenities, providing a very relaxing and beautiful experience. The views from the property were absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset and were visited by various different types of wildlife. We would definitely stay here again. Worth the visit!

It says 3 bedrooms but one of the sofa bed actually broke.

Host was very accomodating. He turned on AC prior our arrival to make the house is at comfortable temperature. The house has a great view with desert landscape. It has its own joshua tree on the frontyard perfect for backdrop. The location is perfect for dark sky stargazing.
