Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere’s none to like, everything is good.
Love coming to the pad for vacationing in the mountains, it’s one of the best hotstels/hotels that anyone could stay. As a regular customer, the pad has become a tradition with me and my family to visit every year, it’s become a very valuable experience here at the Pad. We have to thank the pad for their hospitality and support!

AustraliaA great hostel! The rooms are comfortable and clean, bathrooms are also clean and modern. The bar is a great spot to meet other travellers or even some locals with multiple other areas to sit and relax if you're not feeling as social. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of snowboarding! The bus stop is within walking distance and will take you to the ski resorts, too. I had a slight mishap with my check in but that was rectified and I can safely say I would recommend The Pad and will definitely stay next time I visit.

The hostel vibe, common kitchen and on-site creates a friendly chatty atmosphere. The various activities, like live music, bingo and Salsa dance lessons add to the fun. The hot tub was so cool!! This was the best accomodation we had on our ski holiday. Thank you to the Pad Managment and staff from the Ski and Salsa Crazy Kiwis.

United States of AmericaI didn’t use the hot tub bc it had scum marks rimmed around the sides. Given how many people are there, I wonder how frequently they test and treat or change the water. Also, plugs by the bed would be nice instead of having to charge our items on the floor where the plug was. PARKING is a bit of a problem. Keep your car in the lot once you find a spot or you’ll have to walk about 10 min to their overflow lot. Just be prepared to do that because chances are, you’ll have to.
Husband and I stayed in a room with a private bathroom. It was a tight fit with two people but fine for two nights and very clean. Loved the overall atmosphere of the bar and kitchen area. I like being able to make my own breakfast and snacks at my leisure. Plenty of spaces to hang out with people or relax outside of your room separately. The gear storage room was great as well.

United States of AmericaThe toilet paper. They use the cheapest toilet paper. That’s not cool that’s not a hotel thing to do. No one should use that John Wayne toilet paper. It actually takes about 5 times as much as regular toilet paper so I’m thinking you don’t actually have any cost saving there. Just in happy rumps!
The atmosphere, the mattresses, the kitchen, the staff everything was amazing! They have group events each night you can join in on it you can just go to bed. They have a hot tub everything is pretty awesome

United KingdomBear in mind that most of the small double rooms are without windows, but we were able to switch on the second night for one with windows and honestly the lighting in the windowless room was very cosy so not a huge problem, and the common areas are very nice and open. Pillows are very thick (beware!)
There was lots of free coffee with loads of choice of creamers and milks! Didn't see any food options but wasn't expecting any. Also, kitchen was well stocked and very clean with all the necessary utensils/appliances and more. Amazing bar, very friendly and helpful staff, super fast wifi and great working spaces, lovely hot tub on the balcony and wonderful yoga class on saturday morning with free coffee and kombucha/prosecco - definitely worth it to start off a peaceful weekend. The reception gave us recommendations for hikes/nearby facilities and were super helpful when we wanted to change room for the second night.
