In fairness, the refurbishment works were probably the issue but I was surprised to find that only bar food or room service was available in the evenings. Bar food choice was decent however. I also told them about a flickering light in the bathroom but that still wasn’t sorted two days later when I left

The only issue we’ve had in our stays has been the very outdated technology in the room. I suspect that is because they hold back rooms for the clearing houses(you get what you pay for), but, nonetheless, it is a little disappointing.

The attention to detail in the room's design and furnishings was evident, and the view of the city skyline from my window was breathtaking. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were of the highest quality, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The spacious bathroom featured a deep soaking tub and a separate shower, and it was stocked with luxurious amenities. One of the standout features of The Peninsula New York is its impeccable service. Every staff member I encountered, from the doorman to the housekeeping team, was attentive and eager to assist with any request. I was not pleased with the room they gave me. Low floor and right next to the elevator. The lower floors seem to have electrical problems and are less taken care of then the higher floors
