Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI was sorry that the bar closed at 9. Can't think of anything else. I got just what I was looking for and a little more.
I went to Kenai to attend some baseball games. My requirements were simple. I needed a safe, clean room with excellent internet. In fact, this place exceeded my expectations. The room was small but had two beds, TV, a fan, a microwave, a coffeemaker and a miniature full refrigerator and freezer. The bathroom had two sets of thick towels. I arrived around 9 p.m. and they were serving free hot snacks like mac 'n cheese. That was unexpected but nice. There was also a free breakfast but I did not get up in time to try it. The bar is cute: looks and feels just like small town Kenai.

United States of AmericaWalls are thin. Neighbors pulled up in the middle of the night. Fortunately, they settled into their room quickly and quietly. Bathroom could use an update, but hey,...there was water, towels, etc.
We were greeted by a friendly host who quickly organized our keys and added the additional person traveling with us with no hassle (believe we paid a little more, as expected). The room had fridge, microwave, coffee maker & TV. The two beds in our room were configured in such a way that each party had some privacy and space. And, the beds were the most comfortable beds we slept in throughout our week-long Kenai adventure. For this reason, we would return! Down to Earth, great value, great people! Thanks!

United States of AmericaTotally satisfied!
It was exceptionally clean! The bluff overlooking the beach is about 50 yards away where there’s a picnic table and loop walkabout way. It’s quiet, maybe 4 miles from the center of Kenai and simply a diamond in the rough! The Owners Rosanna & Grant are more than welcoming, kind & go way over & beyond to cater to their clients! Rosanna provides a continental breakfast with a couple of hot items each morning-even though I’d read online that it ended a day prior to my stay..the smoked salmon egg scramble was to die for-oh the lemon halibut, smoked salmon lumpia and noodles were equally delicious as a treat for some European guests- they celebrate their guests-whether they catch a fish or not! Just awesome folks-as the locals..kind! I was looking to forage different berries..a gal pulled an AK Berry handbook from her for me-and took me around the property! I‘be never even heard of a “watermelon berry”-delicious! Again, great conversation over cold local brews with area teachers, LNG retirees, fishermen, & guests from around the globe-what a wonderful place!

United States of AmericaThe owners are the most down to earth people I have met! They helped my family with any needs and the breakfast each morning was really good. These 2 put pride in this hotel and I'll stay here again if my family visits Soldotna again. They kept our fish frozen until we left and allowed us to use their vacuum sealer for the fish. You're family when you stay here and that means more to me then a fancy hotel. I just loved this place!

United States of AmericaI didn't take any pictures of the place.
The Place has excellent owners and one main other employee who is the bartender and she rocked as well. Out of the way but plenty of access to cool places and lots of fishing, hiking and other recreation. Owners let us checkout fishing poles and basic tackle. They also had a vacuum sealer and freezer space, we just had to supply vac bags. Breakfast everyday made by the owners usually scrabble eggs, potatoes or meat, some fruit, cottage cheese, yogurt, bread, coffee, etc. Rooms are real basic, older and smaller with older linens and towels but great for a place to hang the hat. The smaller rooms make you goout instead of sit at the room. First trip to AK for my brother and me, and would definitely stay here again. The bar is attached and just a good old bar to have a beer at the end of a day. Sometimes food but kitchen is mostly closed since Covid hit; so just randomness, nachos on Tuesday's, sometimes homemade afternoon pancakes.

United States of AmericaOur family (with two kids) stayed at Grant and Rossana's motel for three nights, and they made us feel really like home. They are by far the best hotel owners we have met. Rossana made exquisite dinners for us even though the motel doesn't serve dinners. She also helped my wife to clean and store the salmons we caught. The motel is just 50m away from a spectacular view of the glacier mountains across the Cook Inlet. There is also a pristine lake nearby where you can kayak. Highly recommend this motel to anyone who visit Kenai, AK.
