The walls too thin. Heavy walkers in room above including the cleaning service. You can hear the cleaning service moving their carts up and down the pavement outside. No microwave in room. : (((

Nothing - It was better than we expected.

Our room in the motel was fine - big enough and included everything we wanted. Parking is obviously a plus point for a central accommodation. There’s an outside, upstairs deck which was pleasant.

Extremely loud guests got woken up around 3am on two separate occasions with really loud talking and laughter. Disrupted the one night stay. Shame some guests can't respect the rules and other paying guests.

Big room, overall pretty clean. Nice location at the top of the main street so easy to get to all the local shop eateries etc. Staff were warm and welcoming. Parking on site.

The pillows was small and strangely firm. I'm not sure what it was made out of, but it had zero fluff.

The location was very good, right on State Street so we were able to walk to the restaurants. The room was clean. I think the price matched what we got, which was nothing fancy but comfortable

The sun shade on the window made an awful racket when it was blown by the wind, so you either had to leave it all the way open and have no privacy, or close it fully, which doesn't allow the lovely natural sunlight in. And at night, the lights from the hallway and general outdoor lights were hard to block out fully. Blinds and curtains would be MUCH better, since they would better allow the breeze through.

The location was great; there are quite a few restaurants and cafes just a few minutes walk away. It is not right next to the beach, it is about a 40 minute walk, or a 10-15 minute bike ride away. I used one of the free bikes, but the tires were not pumped up, and it was much too small for me, so it was pretty hard to make it back up the hill to the motel. Anyway! The room was a good size, and the bed was soft. Pillows were a nice firmness, too. The sundeck was great, I loved being able to sit out there and enjoy the Santa Barbara ambiance, but I do wish there had been some shaded areas, because I burn super quickly.

Bugs under my bed. The young man from front desk was very nice and brought over a vacuum to clean the room. The carpet was so dirty that I walked bare feet for a little bit and my feet was black. The bed was okay. A little hard for my taste. One side of the bed was more comfortable than the other side. No coffee- such bummer, but there was a market near buy to walk and purchase some. Just keep in mind they open at 7am. I wake up usually at 5, so I had to wait for the market to open to have some coffee. The bathroom window was open and I could not close it. Bugs kept coming in through little holes. The blinds on the windows are so big for it, people could see inside. I had to arrange with pillows so I didn’t feel like people could watch me sleep. This hotel just needs some fixing up.

The location, the front desk people were very helpful. Great manners and polite.
