Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe front desk attendant in the morning acted like a teenager that didnt want to be bothered. Interacting with him was the only bad part of the experience.
The breakfast was awesome. I am glad I stayed.

United States of AmericaHow unapproachable the staff were
Wonderful clean rooms. Beautiful scenery all around Like the antiques thruout. The breakfast was delicious. A clock would've been nice. And a step stool to get into the bed Otherwise no complaints. The staff were very business like and professional. However , thruout my stay I noticed the staff in general wasn't very personable thanks to all who keep this amazing inn in such incredible shape !

United States of AmericaN/a it was exactly what we were looking for for our little getaway.
The property was beautiful, especially after the 2 feet of snow that dumped on us on Saturday! The gathering room with bar and fireplace were perfect for hanging out. The rooms were quaintly decorated, with modern conveniences. The staff were standouts, incredibly hardworking, yet always gracious and friendly.

United States of AmericaEnjoyed breakfast. Scrambled eggs did taste to wet both days (maybe milk was added to it). Low on strawberry jelly. Server for breakfast and dinner could have been a bit more professional for my taste but both were very friendly all your other staff seemed to have better training regarding food and interactions.

United States of AmericaThe potholes in the driveway at the entrance.
We liked how it was on an older estate with lots of history and we really enjoyed the old farmhouse vibe not only in the dining area but the rooms as well.

United States of AmericaNo reason to get into tiny details. Every time I asked for something, it appeared, including cookies in mid afternoon.
This was not my first stay at Quechee Inn, which tells readers something already. As expected, the Inn was rustic, but fully warm and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful, and our scheduled dinner terrific. The value is considerable, and with relatives in the extended neighborhood, I will certainly come again.

United States of AmericaThe room we were in was very dusty. We had to dust the night stands and table as well as the bathroom stand. I dont mean just light dust...I mean a layer of dust.
Very pretty area. The restaurant was excellent. The food was top notch. The bed was very comfy and the room pleasant.

CanadaI would say the rooms are getting old. I was not super clean to be honest and the shower had a lot of mold. They definitively need to renovate the bathrooms.
The breakfast and the staff were really nice. The authenticity of the place too. I also liked the fact that the inn was in front of a nice park.

United States of AmericaThe bed was a little too soft for what we like. Because we had a first floor room in a hallway near the lobby, we were glad that there was a hallway door that closed to the lobby. The problem was that the hallway door squeaked whenever it was used. Probably just needs a little oil in the hinge.
The hot/cold buffet breakfast was perfect and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The pre fix dinner menu was delicious and at a more than fair price. The inn had a lovely bar with a roaring fire that was very comfortable and inviting.
