Toilet closet did not have a working light. Keys did not seem to match the room. Could not lock the door to the room.

We found the old hotel in some disrepair with for sale signs. Host finally came out to meet us, seeming somewhat irritated that I hadn't seen his texts about self-check-in. But by morning (see above) he was very hospitable.

Place and room were historic and in an old part of town. Breakfast was very nice and host and guests were friendly.

Wish there was a elevator due to being on the third floor. But if we had the elevator we would of missed the beauty of the architecture of it all

I loved the integrity of the building and the atmosphere was charming. Loved the owner came out and talked with us about the place and history on it. Each room had its very own style and creativity to it. Loved the pocket doors. We had the suite and the jacuzzi tub gave the added touch. The preservation of all the original wood work was beautiful. I'd definitely recommend it

Love staying at this inn...lovely and historic....needs some TLC. Bathroom could use more space for holding toiletries.

Close to events center, restaurants, and many other fun things to do. Bed was comfortable...bathroom was a great size. Room was clean. Breakfast was wonderful...a hot dish plus a variety of other items to choose from. Robert is a wonderful host.....makes you feel very welcome This is not the first we stayed here....will definitely go back again.

Would have liked a Kurig/coffee maker in our little room, although we saw some of the bigger rooms had one.

Breakfast was delicious. We booked the smallest/least expensive room, and it suited our needs perfectly! Loved hearing about the history of this grand ol' home.

There are repairs that are needed in the room we stayed in. There was colored tape and duct tape holding areas of the wallpaper and tiles. There was an issue with the ceiling that was covered with a hard plastic sheet.

An old mansion which needs a few minor repairs such as peeling wallpaper but overall a beautiful house.

Excellent selection of tasty food and nicely presented. Robert gave us the history of the mansion during breakfast which was an added bonus.

Didn't have a choice but to eat eggs with onions. My wife asked if she could have eggs with no onions and she got an ugly no.

It looked a little shabby when entering because of the cement front steps needing repair. You do need to lug your suitcases up stairs, but then it is an old, large house from another time.

The breakfast was excellent. individually cooked and served at the table. Trippy place to stay in. Formerly an old mansion, it is a little creaky, but each room has a modern bathroom, the beds were comfortable.

Not sure the front doors were ever really locked even though they had a sophisticated lock system.
