Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWhile I appreciate the industrial look, the shower in my unit had absolutely no way of containing water, and the floor wasn't quite sloped enough to prevent water from covering half the bathroom while running. Thankfully it didn't spill out of the (elevated) bathroom down onto the rest of the room.

IsraelMostly the bed. It was short, and it wasn't very steady. It moved and squeaked badly with every move. It was a little hard to sleep in it.
Great price, the room was nice and clean, and had some useful amenities. Also, it wasn't too far from the subway, and one could walk to the center if the weather is nice (and of course, if that person is fine with walking 30 minutes).

United KingdomThe rooms are very small, and not enough storage in the bathroom or in the room. I didn't have a chair in my room, and the bed is on a platform which is ok but you had to climb across the bed to pull the window blinds down. Just a bit too tight on space I think.
Location was excellent, just outside of the busy main road but within easy walking distance. Very nice residential area, felt very safe.

SpainThey were supposed to provide a robe but they didn't; it would have made my experience better considering that bathrooms were shared and outside the room. The gym was very basic.
Excellent location between South End and Back Bay, vey comfortable bed. Great atmosphere in general.

NetherlandsLimited breakfast choices, we went in town to Tatte. Parking was couple of blocks away but affordable.
The beds were good. The 4 kids liked the bunk beds with curtains. We preferred the private bathroom of course. Bustling Mexican restaurant next door is great! Location is very walkable to the city, yet close to highways.

CanadaThere is no bathroom in the rooms. Shared washroom facilities were inconvenient in the middle of the night. The beds were extra high off the floor. They need to provide a step stool so you can get into the bed. Small room with no amenities. Overnight parking cost $38.
Comfortable bed with clean sheets. Good pillows. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Unique interior design. Parking garage was very close.

United KingdomBathroom across the hall could be a bit of a pain, but the bathroom itself very clean and newly refurbished.
Very nice hotel in Boston’s South End/Back Bay. Modern decor. Very comfortable room with large bed and flat screen TV. Good location close to Back Bay T station. Allowed me to check in early. Good value for money in an expensive city.

IndiaThe size of the room was too small to even move around in the room - claustrophobic . Not even a scope for a coffee 24/7. Too expensive for the facilities offered .

United States of AmericaThe rings going up to the loft bed were round and hurt to use in barefeet. Should have option to get hot water somehow- in lobby or at floor water/ice station.
The beds were comfy. LOVED the shared bathroom. Brought price down but was super clean and convenient.

AustriaThe room was a bit small, given that we had actually booked a room for three people despite being only two. There is no real space to store the luggage in the room. Furthermore, the showers (in the communal bathroom space) could use some sort of water-block because even with regular shower usage, the tiled floor in front of the shower could become really wet and slippery.
The "bathroom down the hall" aspect of the room was initially quite a questionable move, but the hotel staff kept it very tidy and clean! Thus it is certainly a good option for travelers looking to save some money. The hotel is very well located, and its easy walking (if you're not restricted in your mobility) to the downtown area. If you don't have any breakfast included in your stay, there is a coffee shop in the lobby to grab your morning coffee (a little pricy though). However the sandwich shop across the street ("Billy's Sub Shop") is amazing, and great value for money!

United States of AmericaColonial vibe was weird--didn't like the pro-settler artwork. Bathrooms down the hall were not ideal but work ok and were pretty clean, regularly. Expensive for what you're getting. Room was very small. No parking on site. Only two bikes for borrow.
Clean, great location. Nice to have bikes to rent (but one had a seat that was not adjustable). Gym was nice but would be nice to have a sauna too. We may stay again in the future but didn't love it.

A stylish and stylish hotel minutes from the city center. The price was a bit higher but that’s the norm in Boston. Shared bathrooms were clean and easy to access. They gave me permission to check in 2 hours earlier than the "normal" time.
